My parents saw ET before they took me to see ET and have a visceral memory of mom loudly talking to me when Eliot calls his brother “penis breath”. Because she didn’t want me to hear that vulgar/amazing insult.
Guys? John Williams has made such an impact on our culture. Also: Whats it like to kiss a girl?
Ever put on ur slippers & press play on a previously recorded @PBS “John Williams: The Berlin Concert” special whilst simultaneously realizing you’re old as fucking shit? Me neither!

I fucking hate giving @LaurenSivan compliments. But credit where credit is due: A ripped from the awful headlines WIN.

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates.
Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term.
In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!”
For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films.
Happy Halloween 2026.
I continue my theory that the niece/witch is gonna end up being trouble as a teenager. Whilst the nephew/FDNJ recruit will start more fires than he puts out.
Willie Stargell on trying to hit Sandy Koufax in his prime: "It was like trying to drink coffee with a fork."
Walking Manhattan, during this end of months, is essentially block by block porn. I’m old! And wearing a coat cause I’m cold. But? Stronger women are just wearing public thongs. In relation to a Halloween costume?
Willie Nelson’s version of Graceland is waaaay better than Paul Simon’s actual Graceland. I said it! music.apple.com/us/album/gra…
