Imagine my surprise after playing 9 holes at @masongrizzly today when Jack said the Bengals looked awful and were down 13-0 to the Ravens at Half Time. And when I came in after and asked the score 35-13 Bengals. Wouldn't the people of Greater Cincinnati like a team that shows up for 4 quarters?

On a day that I have a break from golf, traveled to Lawrenceburg, IN and ate at 4 Speed on 50's diner. Great place. need to return eat again, and do it on a day to see their museum of vintage cars. Only 40 minutes from downtown Cincinnati.

The GolfX crew suggested I play Ackerman Allen at Purdue. I did. Shot a 76 with 3 birds and an eagle. Those greens are like glass. Played from 5600 because I can.

Tues night the 2026-2027 NHL hockey season gets underway. How did this NYer come to be a fan of the Montreal Canadiens? Well, Hockey Night In Canada on CKWS Kingston, Ontario. Beliveau, Richard, Lafleur, Dryden and a host of others. So that's how. #GoHabs. Dec 12th at CBJ.

I truly feel bad for Cincinnati Bengals fans. I have a lot of friends who are fans. Of course they lose to Pittsburgh.

Andy Beshear throwing female athletes under the bus.
ANOTHER ONE! Democrat Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear defends vetoing a bill to keep biological males out of girlsโ€™ sports and locker rooms, saying, 'We don't throw anybody under the bus.' What about female athletes? Protecting womenโ€™s sports shouldnโ€™t be controversial! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

this right here.
The woke right in my comments claims to be Christian. Then I hear Satanโ€™s words about Vivek: twist what he said, smear him, and tell Republicans to stay home so Amy Acton wins. Half of liberals now say they have no religion. Many do not even believe God exists. In fact, 82% of atheists and 76% of agnostics identify with or lean Democrat. That is the side you strengthen when you split the GOP. Watch the Democrats. The DSA and the communists are already eating that party alive. Do not let those same demonic forces take the right. The party that still loves God and country cannot hand Ohio to the party that grooms and transitions children, murders babies, and keeps neighbors locked in poverty, through the false promises of socialism, for political and financial gain. If that is what you are preaching, you are not defending the faith. You are doing the other sideโ€™s work.

25 years ago this morning, I was packing for my first trip as a pilot for American Airlines when Suzi came in and told me an airplane had hit the World Trade Center. I assumed a small airplane, bad weather. Then I turned on the television. Crystal clear morning in New York. I stood there holding my young son Matthew, going through my mental aviation checklist on how this could've happned... and the second airplane hit. I knew we were under attack. Flight suit. Boots. Raced out to Naval Air Station Fort Worth. Through the gate before the base went to Threat Condition Delta. I was supposed to spend that day flying Americans to Miami. I spent it strapped into an armed and running F/A-18 Hornet at the end of a runway, prepared to shoot one down. Gruff and I waited while the Spads of the 457th FS got airborne, scheduled to launch when they ran out of gas. By the time the did, all air traffic was on the ground. 2,977 innocent people were murdered by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists. Souls jumped from the towers, because falling through a clear September sky was better than burning alive. First responders climbed up while thousands ran down. Father Judge, a Catholic priest and FDNY chaplain, walked into hell to pray over the dying and became one of its victims. They carried him out and laid him on an altar. 25 years later, Americans are still dying from what they breathed at Ground Zero. Veterans still carry the wounds you can see and the ones you can't. This country has forgotten why. NYC elected an avowed anti-American immigrant Muslim socialist as mayor. Michigan's nominee for senate closed his campaign beside a man who said America 'deserved 9/11' and that we brought it on ourselves. People running for office in a country they hate. We raised a generation to be ashamed of this great country. They will not defend it. And a generation that will not defend a country will eventually accept whatever replaces it. I am for religious freedom. I spent 15 years defending the document that guarantees it, I started my own church. But the moment your religion leaves its lane and comes into mine - the moment it claims the right to kill me for not believing what you believe - it is not a faith anymore. It is a political system with a body count. Its own law. Its own courts. Its own mandates on what women can and can't do. Ask a girl in Kabul about her schooling, ask a Christian in Saudi Arabia where his church is. There isn't one in the whole country. 15 of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. We let them build here. They do not let us build there. That is not tolerance, it's an invasion. Europe has fallen. The Constitution is not a suicide pact. Contrary to what the pope thinks, there is such a thing as a 'just war'. This is it. 25 years ago this morning I sat at the end of a runway in a loaded fighter, waiting for an order I prayed would never come. Many said we would never forget. They did. I never will. Fight's On. @NoFallenHeroes @SuziNFH

In 24 years of watching 9/11 memorials and the reading of the names of the dead, I have never heard applause. This morning the crowd did โ€” because one brave widow, @TerrySStrada, looked at the leaders in front of her and refused to let the day pass in silence. She called out Saudi Arabiaโ€™s role, the broken promises, and a string of administrations that protected the Kingdom instead of helping to deliver justice for the families. A stunning, must-watch minute. Stand with the families.

We (Time Warner) were supposed to meet the AOL team in NYC at WTC 7. Instead they moved the meeting to Cincinnati that Tuesday morning. They got in at met us at the Reed Hartman Hwy office for the division. A phone call to one of the AOL members and they wanted us to turn the TV on. As the events unfolded including the WTC 7 building failure, there were no words. Jesus Iturralde from Cisco flew in from NY that day too. He lived in a subdivision with many members of Kanter Fitzgerald. Meetings were cancelled and so were flights back. Rental cars took our guests back to NYC. Our division purchaser was stuck in Syracuse. My family friend's daughter worked at WTC 1. Their son worked at the Pentagon. Didn't hear from them until 10pm that night. A mentor, Larry P from TW NY, was on the phone with his friend, the engineer at the TV station atop the WTC. He was on the phone when he lost connection as the tower came down. I will never forget. And I just don't understand how NYers have forgotten. RIP all who paid the price that day and days/years after.

๐Ÿšจ OMG, WHY TRUMP DID THISโ€ฆ Trump noticed the Marines through his window. And for a brief momentโ€ฆ he wasnโ€™t thinking like the President. He simply became what those Marines needed most โ€” a Commander-in-Chief who truly noticed them. Nobody arranged this. Nobody scripted it. No PR team planned it. No speechwriter prepared the words. Trump was simply moving through the White House when he looked outside and saw the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon practicing on the South Lawn. That incredible precision. That unwavering discipline. That quiet dedication that so many people might walk past without noticing. But Trump stopped. He watched them. And then he said three simple words that made the moment unforgettable: โ€œCome on in, fellas.โ€ And those Marines entered the Oval Office. The most powerful room in America. And Trump personally presented each of them with a Presidential Challenge Coin. One after another. Looking them in the eyes. Shaking every hand. Then one Marine looked at Trump and said, โ€œThank you.โ€ Trump looked back at him and replied with words that hit differently: โ€œItโ€™s my honor.โ€ Not โ€œgreat job.โ€ Not โ€œwell done.โ€ Not simply โ€œthank you for your service.โ€ โ€œItโ€™s my honor.โ€ The President of the United States telling a Marine that being there with them was an honor. And todayโ€ฆ a 20-year Air Force veteran shared online: โ€œI never thought I would feel this way about this man. But this is what real leadership looks like.โ€ That veteran expressed something many people couldnโ€™t put into words. #Trump #Marines #America #GodBlessAmerica

Everyone be safe out there. Going to be a scorcher tomorrow too. Got through 18 holes today, started hydrating last night. Took a gallon and half of ice out onto the course. Got wet and cold before the first tee. Made it through and shot a tidy 79. Made some money, always nice.

What a day playing golf at Stonelick Hills. 3 birdies, 100+ feet of made putts. A net $48 bucks. Could have been more. Matching birdies on Hole 18 wiped out a skin. Great playing with the boys. A 76 is the best round I've had in 4 years.
