After taking a bad high sticking penatly, look at how quickly Tyson Kozak gets out of the box, joins the play, creates a turnover, and clears the puck
That's how you say thank you to your killers

Benson-Ostlund-Quinn line is the only line that understands how to operate in the offensive zone after getting into it

Josh Norris never looks confident with the puck. He never looks dangerous. Plays die on his stick. It’s so frustrating.

As promised, I’ll be live steaming tonight over on @SabremetrixPod during the game.
The streams continue until the Sabres win a game against an opponent out east because no way I‘ll be streaming while they’re out in Cali.

The one thing that will drive me nuts now this is over is some will pretend the Sabres did not have a better offer (multiple times) at the draft and into the start of free agency.
FWIW I think other teams did too. Jets liked Mercer and made their decision.
My thoughts that no one asked for on the you know who trade:
I’m just glad we can stop talking about it. Stinks he didn’t make his way to Buffalo, but what’s done is done, time to move forward.
Or, more preferably, time to make a move for a forward.
It's just one game, but that absolutely sucked.
Didn't help their goalie on the first 2 goals and he repaid the favor on the 3rd. Lifeless in the 3rd period - everyone and their mother has said this come from behind stuff isn't sustainable. They got pants'd by the Flyers. Gross.
Decent start but still looking for the first goal!
