Have Aston Villa always been this unbearable?

Tonali and Fernandes obviously different class, but Gallagher was also superb. Had them absolutely rattled and done his job perfectly. He is key in games like that one. #thfc

“Ah do leave off”. My Uncle Tony, one of the Lambeth Boys.
Accents: South London Oh how the youth have changed. These lads talk about the importance of having a good suit in the 1950s. Their overall demeanour speaks volumes as to how the working-class understood the importance of personal, and cultural maintenance. "I spend about 30 bob a week on clothes". 'We Are The Lambeth Boys' ⏳️

Do people realise the drop-off from the Prem to the Championship? The last 3 top scorers were Vipotnik, Piroe and Szmodics. Gooood players. Solanke got 29 last time he was there. Richarlison would break records. Lankshear likely found his level… #thfc

It’s a shame Van Hecke isn’t a very good defender because I have never seen a centre half play out the ball as well as he does. World class. #thfc

Bergvall over Fernandes is a huge concern. It’s starting to feel all too familiar, and we know how it ends. De Zerbi won’t have many supporters left if he keeps this up. #thfc

Bored of Maddison, bored of injuries and bored of how shite we are. Don’t have the energy for another loss tomorrow. #thfc
De Zerbi on Maddison: "He's available but he lost 3-4 days at the end of last week and start of this. James is a special player for us. Gallagher, as a 10, also he's playing well. (contd)

Perhaps the international break was a good thing. I haven’t missed these atrocious takes at all.
I would play Tonali at RB against United in Porro’s absence, with Fernandes and Bentancur in the pivot. Would give me a lot more confidence defending the big spaces United thrive in than Gray RB. I think it would work

A positive: thought that was Tonali’s best game by far. Van Hecke too. Shame about the others. #thfc

Big signs of improvement needed from Bergvall this year. Looked so promising when he first joined but never kicked on, and has became our worst midfielder. Time to prove a lot of us wrong. #thfc

Three games in and we’ve already equaled last year’s position. Up the Spurs! #thfc

For what it’s worth, I quite like Mudryk. For the doubters, he at least gives sides something else to think about. If nothing, he is absolutely rapid. #thfc

Would have loved Ndiaye because he’s fun to watch, but there’s a reason he was our (and City’s) second choice. Not going to pretend we still haven’t had a fantastic window. If only Maddison could stay fit… #thfc

I actually don’t mind the Mudryk links. #thfc

We now have more than enough technical ability in this squad to become a very good side (especially when everyone’s back). Do think we could do with a couple of lumps to toughen us up, mind. #thfc

Any chance we can just keep signing players but never play? Would make me much happier. #thfc

I wouldn’t keep Danso just because he can head a ball. Like him, but extremely easy to replace. Could be good news for Byfield… #thfc

Fernandes is him 😮‍💨 #thfc

Wonderful window. Only way it gets any better is if we were to get rid of a few more (Bergvall, Richarlison & Sarr) and go big on another two. I also think we’ll regret not getting a new no1, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. #thfc
