How did we get from Marxist theory to men suckling babies? In Stella O’Malley’s excellent interview with Ian Cox (see below) she asks the question we all want answered: what is the endgame? His sombre answer is ‘There is no endgame!’

Muslim parents "demanded" a ban on pork at a school in a city in the Netherlands. The mayor of that place responded with wise words! "Muslims must understand that they must adapt to the Netherlands, their customs, their traditions, their way of life, because it was the country they chose to emigrate to. They must understand that they are the ones who must integrate and learn to live in the Netherlands. They must understand that they are the ones who must change their lifestyle, not the Dutch. You must understand that the Dutch are not racist or xenophobic. We accept many immigrants, from many countries with different cultures and religions, which are Islamic countries that do not accept non Islamic immigrants. Therefore, the Dutch are not willing to give up their identity and their culture. In conclusion, they must understand that in the Netherlands, with their Jewish Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches, and religious parties, the religion must remain in the Netherlands. For Muslims who disagree with the Dutch culture and religion and do not feel comfortable in the Netherlands, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries around the world, most of them populated and ready to receive them with open arms, according to the sharia. If you leave your country to come to the Netherlands, and not to a Muslim country, it is because you have seen a better life in the Netherlands than where you come from. THIS IS THE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE COMING IN THAT ARE THEIR TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRIES! IF YOU DONT LIKE IT? GO HOME!

I don’t think feminism was ever supposed to mean: “Women can do anything men can do, provided nobody’s feelings are hurt.” It was supposed to mean women are human beings in our own right. Our bodies matter. Our safety matters. Our privacy matters. Our choices matter. And apparently we’re still having to say this.

Hey Terry. If you were drinking with a guy and you were both drunk, would you feel like you’d been sexually assaulted if he penetrated you while you were blackout drunk? I believe you would. It’s funny how men suddenly understand consent when it comes to *their* orifices being penetrated.

The ACLU scrubbed me from its website (even though I worked there from 2012 to 2014, and there is plenty of proof). I have no idea whether or not there was anything nefarious about it doing so. Link ⬇️ (free and shareable).

A reminder to the “feminists” and activists who lecture women that defining ourselves as female human beings is reductive or anti-feminist -- and to the gaslighters claiming feminism has never had anything to do with sex. First published in 1970, this became one of the most influential feminist and women’s health texts in history, eventually selling more than four million copies. Recognizing that women are female human beings is not "reducing" women to our bodies, we are our bodies. We are human beings, female uman beings, and that is all we need be.

Had this man not found the courage to fight back after being repeatedly attacked with an axe capable of cutting through metal—while bleeding profusely—and had the presence mind to trigger the hijack/emergency code, initiate the emergency response and open the cockpit door to allow passengers to assist him, the aircraft’s subsequent dive could have had catastrophic consequences. Had that aircraft not been recovered, the geopolitical consequences for the Middle East could have been profound and potentially irreversible. Sometimes history turns on the courage, resilience and presence of mind of one person. Yes. One Indian man.

We shouldn't forget the role that two Irish people have had in advancing the notion of gender identity in international law. Michael O’Flaherty, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights since April 2024, has a documented, long-standing record of advancing gender-identity frameworks in international human-rights law and intervening against policies that treat sex as biological. This includes foundational drafting work and recent official interventions that align with core trans-advocacy positions on legal recognition, self-defined identity, and access to sex-segregated spaces. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michae… archive.ph/usdkL The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) seeks to make it illegal to question someone’s self-chosen gender identity (totally ignoring the mental health factors that can contribute to a minor expressing gender confusion), via a new proposal criminalising ‘conversion practices’. rm.coe.int/doc-for-a-ban-on-… athena-forum.eu/updates/push… The current Irish Programme for Government includes the implementation of such a ban. See page 98: gov.ie/en/publication/078a1-… "Advance legislation to ban conversion practices." Gender Identity entered the domain of global human rights with the Yogyakarta Principles yogyakartaprinciples.org which were adopted at an experts’ meeting held 6–9 November 2006 at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The meeting was convened by the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) and the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR). Twenty-nine experts from 25 countries formed the International Panel of Experts that drafted, discussed, and unanimously adopted the Principles. Michael O'Flaherty (served as rapporteur at the meeting) and former President of Ireland as well as former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson, was one of the participants (as Founder of Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative - which disbanded in 2010) news.un.org/en/story/2002/09… The Yogyakarta Principles were augmented in 2017: yogyakartaprinciples.org/pri…

You lot know that International Federations no longer use T levels to determine eligibility into the Female category, don't you? You know that the SRY gene screen invovlves a non invasive cheek swab, don't you? You know that the 'Phelps Gambit' misses the difference between category and competitive advantage, don't you? You know that 'hyperandrogenism' is a misdescription of male DSDs like 5ARD, don't you? And you know that Semenya and Khelif's exclusion from the female category has nothing to do with 'white eurocentric standards of beauty', and everything to do with them being XY and SRY positive, - having testes - don't you? Could you please explain why hundreds of people on social media understand these relatively simple facts, and dozens of 'sports studies' academics don't, instead banging on as if it's 2018? Grr.

Here's a handy guide for people who seem to have forgotten how society runs. Social policing happens on multiple levels: 1. Yourself. 2. Other people's tacit disapproval. 3. Other people's active disapproval. 4. Escalation to management. 5. Escalation to police. 6. Court of law.
And what way is that? How are “all other males” stopped from using spaces designated for women?

If you're a man who truly believes he's a woman, you have a condition called delusional disorder. If you are a man who truly believes society must treat you like a woman, you have a condition called narcissism.

I received an email from a woman asking if I would speak at her girls' school. She had pronouns in her signature. I said I would have if she hadn't had the pronouns. She asked me why. We ended up in an interesting dialogue which resulted in her saying she didn't realise what she was promoting. Entire school removed pronouns from email. I spoke at the school. We are now friends!

Brenda Power is a rare voice of moral clarity amongst the Irish commentariat on this issue. In under a minute she eviscerates Ireland’s hypocrisy. ‘There wasn’t a single peep of protest to the Irish cricket team voluntarily playing Afghanistan last month, where women are treated worse than battery chickens. It is the most extreme humanitarian crisis in the world right now, as far as I can see, the gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Not a word of protest.’ ‘Where was your indignation when we played [Afghanistan]? England wouldn’t play them, South Africa wouldn’t play them, New Zealand wouldn’t play them. The great humanitarians in Ireland had absolutely no difficulty. We’re hypocrites.’

Let me strip away the Borgspeak and translate this into language everyone can understand: "In many cultures in the world, including mine, a homosexual male is so offensive to society's sensibilities that our cultures have developed a *pretty homophobic* workaround for us, giving us culture-specific descriptors that all roughly translate as something like "man-as-woman" or "womanly man". You may have heard this referred to as "third gender". Working on society-wide acceptance of homosexuality would never fly in our cultures. So we fight to maintain this ancient workaround system. We are still rejected by society, but not as much as if we were just going around as gay men. And here's why international governments and philanthropists care about us: we are extremely susceptible to HIV infection, because we almost invariably work as prostitutes, and our customers are invariably straight married men who fetishise us, so our sexual networks spread to the general population. Therefore, in order to reach us as an epidemiological population for international AIDS funding, we have collectively adopted the foreign label "transgender" because it helps us organise ourselves internationally and, importantly, this universalising label makes it easier for us to receive international support. When we say that the "sex binary is a colonial import", what we actually mean is that when colonisers arrived on our shores, they outlawed sodomy (NDLR: Thailand was never colonised). This meant that our third-gender identities were outlawed by foreign invaders, because at the end of the day, all we really are is gay men. So now we are adopting trendy "decolonial" messaging because it will help us get support from Western white-paper writers and academics, who will use this fashionable decolonial *lens* to help us reinforce this ancient homophobia. Then we can present our cultural identities as exotic, gender-bending and above all, decolonised -- and we all know that Western lefties love that shit. We all secretly know that foreign support is largely predicated on us all practicing safer sex, so that international AIDS goals can be achieved, but we keep the "human rights" gloss because that's less messy and clinical and easier to sell to the normies. Ultimately, it's all a kind of neocolonialism, ironically. The genius ingredient: pairing HIV/AIDS treatment with "gender affirming care" brings all the boys to the clinic. So when I say that my friend, a "ladyboy", lost access to gender affirming care when Trump pulled the plug on USAID funding to my trans NGO, what I'm really saying is that my ladyboy friend, who, again, is just a gay lad with a pair of tits his customers like, has lost his access to HIV/AIDS care."

Very much so. Jim Crow was a system for oppressing and dehumanizing an entire race of people because of their race. Excluding African-Americans from education, employment and housing opportunities meant AAs could not achieve what whites could achieve. Beyond that it was a brutal system of oppression. Bathrooms were a small part of it. Segregating bathrooms by race served the same purpose as segregating everything else by race - schools, water fountains, public pools, transportation, public accommodations, etc. It sent the message that AAs were not worthy of sharing space with whites and that whites did not want to be around them. Those are just the broad strokes of the Jim Crow. It was an inhuman institution that today is classified as an atrocity. Segregating spaces by sex for the purpose of safety and dignity is not done to dehumanize anyone. The practice has been around since before Jim Crow. It was only compared to Jim Crow when white transactivists started using that as a talking point.

This is fantastic from @RoisinMichaux . There is just so much in it. Great explainer on how the votes went on @BillyKelleherEU ‘s Gender Inequalities in Health resolution. “What’s clear is that they are no longer reliably voting yes on anything that puts trans language in the same bucket as women’s rights or rule of law. The new habit seems to be to peel off any ideological nonsense out of proposals by asking for split votes. Very quietly, a page has been turned. What does it mean in practice? Unfortunately, not a lot. Most of the damaging laws and court case precedents are now in place across Europe (with the exceptions of countries in the East). The only way back to reality is to repeal, repeal, repeal, and that would take some serious political bravery.”
