Playing Dungeons And Dragons for the rest of the night, expect drunken shitposting later tonight. Nice to let your hair down, escape reality and have a giggle with a great bunch of friends every now and then. Reality's just too damned hard at the moment.
Hope you all have a great night yourselves!

ALT The image shows an attractive lady poised like a lady of negotiable affection stood on a street corner with a low cut top, short skirt and alluring smile. She's holding a first edition Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Masters Guide in one hand and pointing at it with her other. A man is leaning out of a car window looking longingly at the Dungeon Masters Guide. The effect is intended to be humorous suggesting that the lady's real attraction is not her outstanding good looks but her willingness to play not just Dungeons and Dragons but first edition Dungeons and Dragons a difficult form of the game now played only by a small minority of players.
Replying to @Latenitemusic1
And as I saw him today on Babylon 5 before I read the news.
Tower Hamlets Council posted this yesterday. Naturally there was a pushback against this contemptable race baiting communication.
The post has now been taken down and sources elsewhere claim that the council simply got the date wrong. There is no mention of this from official channels on x.
Nor is there yet any posted apology from these awful people.
This is not unusual.
My nephew who was a firearms officer at the time popped up to my office one day for his refs (lunch break). his "rifle" (don't laugh) was an MP5.
He put it on my desk with the muzzle point at me. When I "adjusted" the position of the weapon so it wouldn't kill me if it went of (yes it was loaded), he laughed and didn't see what the issue was.
the funny thing is, it was my then DCI who interviewed him (not knowing that he was my nephew at the time) and gave him a job in the job.
Earlier in my career I very nearly had a fight with a very well known AFO who'd lost it during a chase and didn't like to be corrected and had a hissy fit.
A very mixed bunch, some are as good as gold, some I wouldn't trust with a burnt match let alone a firearm.
