dex volume was barely 1% of cex volume in 2021
now it's above 23% (all time high)
crypto is slowly moving away from centralized exchanges
and we're still early in this shift

Binance hacked.
Here's my conspiracy on what's happening and why it's happening.
- Crypto was created by NSA of the US for a post dollar world knowing well adversaries will attack the dollar system, that its time is up after being weaponized, and the USD needed an alternative reserve to back.
- China, Russia, DPRK and many others have figured this out.
- China mainly has been hedging by both hoarding crypto as a state (various ways using proxies and mining) and also trying to attack cryptos as unsafe, to ensure people lose trust in this alternative created by the US.
- Among many crypto exchanges, one is the easiest at hand to "attack" and create this FUD about Crypto, while taking billions from the US and western investors. You know which one.
- But they will try to attack other exchanges too. Siphon off crypto, create FUD on crypto, and try to prevent the US from create a crypto backed dollar and currency.
- IMO, the US has planned for this too. It's quite hard to destroy crypto at this point unless you have some quantum encryption breaking tech or you are NSA itself who knows some mathematical hole in RSA algorithm.
- The only way to win this crypto trap the US has laid is by accumulating more crypto than the rest of the world by hacking, stealing, scamming, mining etc.
- But it can never be done if Satoshi is NSA with 1m BTC in holdings, and also so many from public holding their own keys.

what if some of the biggest crypto hacks were all connected?
$6.3B - binance
$1.5B - bybit
$388M - bitget
$292M - kelp dao
$85M - phemex
@zachxbt and misttrack reportedly found overlapping onchain trails between multiple hacks
different targets, familiar fingerprints
the trail may lead back to the same north korea-linked hacking network: TraderTraitor/Lazarus

bitcoin is digital gold. ethereum is the future of finance. altcoins are the future of poverty.

Over $8 BILLION lost in crypto hacks in 2026
and the year isn't even over yet
binance reportedly suffered a massive $6.3B security incident
around $3 billion already frozen
one of the biggest crypto security disasters ever
but binance is only part of the story
I put together a spreadsheet tracking major and minor crypto hacks in 2026
and the numbers are insane
- 300+ security incidents
- over $8 billion in reported losses and impact
- from billion-dollar exchange breaches to small defi exploits
if even the biggest names in crypto can get hacked, how safe are your funds?
no exchange is completely safe
no wallet is immune
no bridge is unbreakable
no protocol is too big to get hacked
one security failure can wipe out years of gains
sometimes, you don't even get a second chance

Crypto killed more dreams than narratives since 2016
- 2017: bitcoin fork mania died
- 2017: ICOs collapsed
- 2018: DAG blockchain faded
- 2018: ethereum killers lost completely
- 2021: NFT mania faded
- 2021: metaverse collapsed
- 2021: play-to-earn finished
- 2023: socialfi came and went
- 2023: ordinals and BRC-20 dead
- 2024: TON tap-to-earn hype gone
- 2024: L2 token broken
- 2024: DePIN lost its momentum
- 2025: celebrity memecoin scammed
but the saddest part?
somewhere, someone is still holding those bags, waiting for prices that may never come back
Robinhood might be cooked
daily revenue crashed from $8m to $300k
its hype died faster than anyone expected
