Maybe it’s a sample size mirage but I think there’s something to the Daniss buzzer beater thing

Pistons solidly in control of this game, I wanna see Ron Holland try to keep building on what he’s done these last few minutes offensively

Brandon Jennings run post-Josh Smith release and Stanley Johnson’s defense on LeBron in 2016 are two of the greatest “you just had to be there” moments in modern Pistons history
Stan Van had me so obsessed with the game it was insane.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Chet Holmgren underwent treatment Friday to address a small patellar tendon tear and is expected to return to play in 8-to-10 weeks.

This is what I’ve been begging to see from Ausar. What a half of baseball. POA defense, rim protection, playmaking, rebounding, scoring, driving to the rim and pushing in transition all spectacular, even more so with Cade not on the floor.

Forced the next one smh. You gotta take these within the flow of the offense, but I appreciate the aggressiveness. Just keep it up.

Idk how anyone can watch Daniss Jenkins out there and go “yeah we need less of that”

This has to be it for Haley, right? I don’t even know where she goes from here in politics. Her brand is toxic, she blew through AIPAC money like a degenerate gambler who won the lottery and won’t stop publicly backstabbing the guy who beat her despite his efforts to appease her
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has. On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit. The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. If you never watched TNG, do yourself a favor and start now. Take it from someone who didn’t start watching until his mid 20’s, you won’t regret it
Patrick Stewart's entire body of work, but as Picard in particular, is something that connects the person I am today with who I was as a kid. It collapses time for me. I still have the same awe and fascination with his performance and belief that it represents the best of us.

Very cooperative (leaked his demand to the media and then demanded to be traded to a select few teams) and professional (refusing to play hockey for the team he willingly signed a contract with, which is literally his profession)
Statement from Pat Brisson, agent for Dylan Larkin, regarding his client deciding not to play while awaiting a trade: “Dylan’s had enough of the situation. We believe he’s been very professional and cooperative through this process.”

He became a hero to my son in that moment and you made his dream alive. @DetroitPistons are first class top down organization. Nothing like seeing my guy smile and believe. THANK YOU
Cade Cunningham invited a young fan from the stands to help him with pre-game warmup shots. Absolute class act, man. (via @JacobHRichman)

Sounds ridiculous to say, but the thing that's been hardest for me since moving to Italy isnt missing people back in America, or the language barrier, it's not being able to keep up with watching the NBA to the same level I usually do.

When youre playing small with Collins, or you have Paul Reed on the floor, absolutely. The issue is what you do when both he and Duren are out there.
This is such a great way to take advantage of defenses playing off of Ausar 1) Fade Duncan to the spot next to Ausar 2) Immediately run a DHO to force Ausar’s defender to contest Duncan’s shot 3) Hit Ausar on the roll if Duncan doesn’t have an open shot More of this in the offense, please!

Percentages. Do. Not. Matter. NBA teams will never treat you like a threat if you dont have the volume to force them to respect you. Isaiah Stewart's three point shooting is a perfect example of this. Ausar simply must attempt multiple midrange jumpers every single game.
Ausar Thompson says he must be more aggressive seeking his shot early when defenses play off him. Ausar Thompson: “When teams play off, I gotta do that off-rep, not wait until we're down 20 to start doing that. They don't see me as a threat.” (via @omarisankofa)

This is my entire reasoning behind my belief the Pistons are set up to contend if they make a move for a second shot creator. They have the three point volume this year that they didn’t last season. If they get that second star, teams can’t overplay any aspect of their offense
