"It's a result-oriented business."

Tocchet on David Jiricek and young guys coming in/out of the lineup:
“The NHL is a development league to a point. I mean, you can't make mistakes after mistakes, and just say, "Well, let them play out of it." Like, when is that? 80 games? There's got to be some kind of situation. I'm not using [Jiricek] as an example. I'm saying in general, a young player. You know, I was a young player too. There's got to be a baptism, too, of doing the right things. Yeah, you want to play through mistakes, but you can't play through mistakes when the mistakes are always egregious, and I think that's where coaches, I know they get in crap sometimes trying to develop, but when a guy's making big mistakes after big mistakes, you know, it's hard for a coach because it's a result-oriented business. You're trying to find some kind of substance of guys that can hold the fort together.”
Hmm...

The response from the Eagles today to the Jalen Hurts situation tells me that they still do not realize the degree to which they fucked up here.
Or, they don't yet realize the lengths they are going to have to go to convince people that they did not fuck up here. This wasn't it.
And Google does so much to fight ad blockers hmmmm...
Online ads can apparently do a lot more than track you.
Citizen Lab has uncovered a technique called “AdFection” that uses targeted advertising to deliver zero-click spyware.
The attack works without the victim clicking an ad. A malicious ad can be shown to a specifically targeted device, exploit a vulnerability, and potentially install spyware automatically.
Citizen Lab traced the operation to Discover-Tech, an Israeli ad-tech company whose Controlium platform was used to profile and identify targets before delivering the spyware.
Researchers found evidence that at least 45 devices at Al Jazeera were infected with Candiru spyware between 2024 and 2025.
Discover-Tech’s advertising reached more than 120,000 websites and around 75,000 apps, potentially exposing hundreds of millions of users to the tracking infrastructure.
Google and other advertising companies have since cut ties with Discover-Tech following the findings. citizenlab.ca/research/how-d…

Probably the biggest reason Tocchet needs to be fired ASAP. A 34 year-old 4th liner gets more ice time than the only player that scores a goal last night. Also circled, Forester who had 4 PIMS yet still had 17+ minutes. 4th line is iced when down by 1 in the stretch. Awful
(He did not play him more)
