If I had enough money and didn't have to beg, just enough for ALL my bill's minimum payments, I had my meds, had enough for one taxi fare in case of an emergency and had groceries for the month I wouln't need a dime more. The lack of stress alone would make me feel rich.

Saturday morning is the only day of the week I am able to get groceries delivered (I’m disabled) If anyone is able to spare a little to help I would be so extremely grateful [email protected]
A small victory for me. Two bill payments came out of my account sucessfully. Which not only means they got paid but it gave me $30 towards another bill instead of $30 to bank fees. Late fees, interest, reconnections are so hard for us in poverty to get out of the vicious circle.
I just spoke with a lady on the phone and my goodness she has to be the fastest talker ever. 🤣 Like autitioner fast. She had a good sense of humour though. I told her she speaks faster than my screen reader on the fastest setting 🤣 Refreshing to speak with someone who can laugh

While I think increasing earning limits and uncoupling couples are moves in the right direction and necessary, a $100 increase to the benefit per month misses the mark by miles. BC's most vulnerable deserve better than 1/10th approx of the amount needed to reach the poverty line.
The B.C. Conservatives promised long-awaited changes in disability policy. Will they follow through? ctvnews.ca/vancouver/article…
I’m not much of an Instagram user but I listen to this guy everyday. His joy and laughter from the dogs he encounters while doing his job is so contagious! It never fails in making me smile! 😊

This probably sounds crazy but I think my water may be making me sick. I woke up feeling not too bad. Drank a glass of water and 30 mins later I now have a sore throat and sore ears. What the heck?!?!

The amount of stress bills induce is overwhelming. Every single one is for a necessity not because of frivolous spending or poor budgeting. When the cost of basic necessities exceeds your monthly income by $1000 + a month you lose your ability to pay. That is extremely stressful
I don’t fit in well in a world with this much anger and hatred happening. I don’t see that as a shortcoming though. I’m actually proud of it. I think it takes courage to remain empathetic and to keep a softness about you while still establishing boundaries.
My birthday is coming soon and it makes me reminisce about my family. I miss them. My Mom told me she was told I wouldn’t make it 12 hours and how I fought hard to be in this world. (I was born early at 2 pounds) I’m still searching for my purpose and why I fought to be here….
I went back to bed slept 6 or 7 hours without waking 😳 Must if needed it. My fever has finally broke though so it was worth it 😊
I woke up convinced it was Monday and I was dreading it. What a pleasant surprise to discover it's Sunday. 😊Going back to bed .....
