MONAD SETS A NEW DAILY TPS RECORD On September 21, Monad reached a new record of 82 transactions per second averaged across the day. ⠀ The 90-day chart shows a clear upward trend: Daily TPS was around 35–40 in late June and has been consistently above 60 in recent weeks. ⠀ Monad co-founder Keone Hon summed it up simply: “But just getting started. Built to scale!” ⠀ Important distinction: 82 TPS represents the average Daily TPS for September 21, not Monad’s maximum technical throughput.

Moose launches on Monad with execution-time swap routing ⠀ FastLane has opened the public beta of Moose, a swap aggregator that routes trades across decentralized exchanges. ⠀ What problem does it aim to solve? ⠀ A venue can look attractive during a quote request but deliver worse terms when the trade executes. The 0x team recently documented malicious pools using this kind of quote manipulation. ⠀ According to FastLane, Moose moves route selection into the swap transaction itself. Its smart contract uses live blockchain state during execution, rather than relying on a route selected beforehand by a server. ⠀ Servers still prepare supporting data. The difference is that the final routing decision happens onchain, inside the transaction. ⠀ The aim is to narrow the gap between an attractive preliminary quote and actual execution. FastLane says this requires more computation, with Monad’s low execution costs making the approach practical. ⠀ Moose remains in open beta, and the team warns that some features may be broken or incomplete. Its execution claims should not be treated as a guarantee of the best price on every trade.
