We're very sad to hear of the death of Peter May, he was a wonderful writer and a generous and gracious presence at the festival over the years. Here he is, at the most recent of six appearances in 2024 - Sending love to Janice and the rest of his family. He will be missed. – at Glasgow, Scotland
One of our favourite authors, Chris Carter, couldn't make the festival this year but fortunately our pals at Aye Write in Glasgow have bagged an event with him in October! Tickets here: glasgowlife.org.uk/event/1/c… – at Glasgow, Scotland
The final day of Bloody Scotland was the perfect end to the festival. We finished the day with a very special event where our brilliant 2026 Guest Programmer Denise Mina officially handed over the reins to our 2027 Guest Programmer, Val McDermid!
