Judge Judy is retiring from TV screens after 30 years but promises fans: "I am still going to stay creative."
Judy has presided over court cases on TV for 30 years now, first on "Judge Judy" and currently on “Judy Justice,” which will release its series finale on Oct. 22. With her time on the bench complete, she is stepping away to focus on working behind the camera. Chief among the projects on her producing slate is “Adam’s Law,” the court show led by her son, judge Adam Levy.
“First of all, he’s ready,” Judy told "GMA" about retiring from onscreen work. “And you know, I’ve aged pretty well over the years. Reasonably. I look better than my grandmother did at my age — which didn’t take a lot,” she joked. “I’m still going to be creative. I’m going to take the message and put it in a little bit of a different form. I’m gonna become the Benjamin Button of court.”

New at ESPN: A deep dive into Cubs INF Nico Hoerner's roots. The man had a TERRIBLE temper as a kid. Dad: "He was always like a hose when you turn the water on and it's whipping all over the place." Story here! espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/4974…

Looking good tonight, @ofcwrigleyfield.
Fourth of July celebration presented by @Macys.
The Cubs Marquee Network is replaying Kerry Wood's May 6, 1998 twenty strikeout game. What a thing of beauty! I was not at that game but I did see him pitch a shutout in the early 2000s and it was the best pitched game I ever saw.⚾⚾⚾

Dave Mason - Alone Together - 1970
Dave Mason was joined on the album by a roster of guest musicians, including Bonnie Bramlett, Leon Russell, Jim Capaldi, Rita Coolidge, Carl Radle and Jim Gordon.
His ife was as tragic as he was talented. On this date 42 year ago, Marvin Gaye was shot dead by his father. Here is Gaye and the late Tammi Terrell, in happier times:
