.....Oh, and the Washington Post also reports that their reporter doing research on Nancy Reagan said that when her father died, Nancy was with him and said he turned to God, requested a Chaplain and prayed with him right before death.
This private letter was just found, hand written in 1982 by President Ronald Reagan (signed Ronnie) to his dying, atheist Father-in-Law. In it, Reagan asks him to believe in and accept Jesus. The letter was just found in Nancy Reagan's personal effects. washingtonpost.com/news/opin…
What an image. This sailor risks his life for this country while these millionaire one percenters won't even stand for it.
New Rasmussen Poll today has Trump at 50%. On this exact date in Obama's first term, they had him at 45%. Imagine what Trump's numbers would be if he wasn't getting 91% negative coverage from the mainstream news media. rasmussenreports.com/public_…
Amazing how "controversial" is was for Trump Jr to merely meet with and listen to a Russian lawyer that he was told had dirt on Hillary....but the media doesn't mind at all that Hillary's Campaign and the DNC actually paid $10 million for dirt on Trump from the Russians.
So Democrat Senator and possible 2020 candidate Cory Booker says anyone who supports Trump's conservative SCOTUS pick Brett Kavanaugh is "complicit in evil". Does anyone remember any GOP senator or candidate saying that about Kagan or Sotomayor? insider.foxnews.com/2018/07/…
Interesting report. Can't say I'm surprised. news.vice.com/en_us/article/…
I support President Trump and trust that he was tough, blunt & direct with Putin in private, and I get the diplomatic reality that he couldn't call Putin a liar in public. But his press conference answers were weak & put Putin's denial on par with DOJ claims. He should fix that.
Brett Kavanaugh. Some potential red flag rulings, but overall I'm "cautiously optimistic". So far, he seems to the right of Kennedy, (good) but not as solid as Gorsuch. (bad) My best guess...another Roberts who will usually vote conservative, but will occasionally disappoint us.
Read this excellent op-ed explaining the Biblical case for building a border wall by Wayne Grudem, Bible Scholar, Theologian and General Editor of the English Standard Version Bible. townhall.com/columnists/wayn…
With all respect to Pope Francis, if someone illegally entered the Vatican (by climbing over it's 40 foot wall, btw), you think they wouldn't be detained and asked for identification? breitbart.com/london/2018/07…
This historian claims Jesus used cannabis in healing oils to explain his miracles. Cannabis may help with glaucoma, but does it restore eyesight? Heal paralysis? Raise the dead? Ummm, no. That's not what Jesus being "high and lifted up" means. dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/…
Happy Independence Day everyone. For all our ups and downs, America is still the greatest nation on Earth....as long as we rely upon Almighty God to guide us. That was the principle of our founding and must remain our principle today.
Real courage for the Capital Gazette newspaper to still print today's story on the attack yesterday from a guy carrying out a vendetta against them going back to 2011. Good for them. Let's certainly be praying for the loved ones of these 5 victims. capitalgazette.com/news/anna…
2/2 - .....For Dems to say we can't vote on a SCOTUS nominee during a MIDTERM election year is absurd. If that's the case, SCOTUS nominees couldn't be voted on 50% of the time as Congressional elections happen every 2 years. GOP never did that to Dems. Nice try Chuck Schumer.
1/2 - LOL. Dems say Senate shouldn't vote on SCOTUS nominee until after this Fall's election, claiming "that's what GOP did in 2016" to Obama pick. Ummm, no. The protocol has always been to not vote on a nominee during a PRESIDENTIAL election year, not a Congressional midterm....
BREAKING: Anthony Kennedy just announced his retirement from the Supreme Court. Will Trump pick another center/right judge?....or another strong solid conservative? If he does, look for the Left to go on the ultimate slash and burn campaign like we've never seen before.
And BTW, many conservative workers (not all, but many) don't WANT Collective Bargaining agreements. They would prefer to be in control of their own career by working harder and earning raises and promotions faster than other workers instead of being hindered by Union contracts.
...Yes, conservative workers may benefit from Collective Bargaining, but they didn't ask for it. You can't make people pay for a service they don't want to buy, whether it benefits them or not. It's THEIR choice to buy such a service...especially when their dues go to liberalism.
