1. Here are a set of extraordinary, crucial facts that scarcely anyone is aware of.
What is the biggest source of PM2.5s (the deadly particles that cause a very wide range of health conditions and early deaths) in the UK?
Diesel exhaust?
Tyre and brake dust?
Smoke?
No.

You might not know it, but in 2019, a total of 100 Westminster MPs voted to keep abortion illegal in Northern Ireland.
Don't, for even a second, think these people wouldn't try and do the same thing here.
So, for your convenience, here's a list of every single one of them:

If you’re gutted, furious & tearful for our sisters in the US, but you’re in the UK (so can do little but show solidarity) please sign this petition. This abortion clinic in Bournemouth has, for two decades, suffered some of the most persistent anti-abortion harassment in England
✨PETITION LAUNCH✨
We are petitioning @BCPCouncil to put a #bufferzone around @BPAS1968 Bournemouth clinic.
Patients, staff and residents deserve to be protected from relentless anti-choice harassment outside the clinic 🚫
Please SIGN and share ✊ democracy.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/…

They’re cancelling art & humanities degrees at uni where students aren’t in skilled jobs in 6 months. They would have cancelled my drama degree at Hull on that basis. I wouldn’t have become a writer. I wouldn’t have written #Sherwood. Other writers wouldn’t have written theirs.

When did you first realize that the GOP was becoming an extremist, anti-democratic cult? For me it was way back in the 90s; people forget how many Rs refused to accept Clinton as legitimate and the proliferation of conspiracy theories 1/
Loads of gratitude to the kind folks at LondonPubTheatres for nominating Oh! Suburbia! for a Standing Ovation Award! - really terrific news, thank you!

Alas, no Oh! Suburbia! show today, folks. The double lines showed up again - still positive... Physically I'm feeling ok, just a bit of a cough, but won't perform until testing negative. Two more possible days - fingers crossed! XX
