Your cartoon experience was driven by your media market. Not everything was a Saturday morning cartoon. In Topeka, Transformers was on Sunday morning. During church sadly. It was a huge struggle to record episodes. So many VCR programing fails...

Why is everyone so upset about this talking about being "replaced"? There WILL come a day when white people are a minority in this country. Just look at the demographic trends. The way these people act, you'd think minorities are treated poorly in this country or something...
A Frisco, Texas city council meeting had the Boy Scouts open up the ceremony. Zoom in on the pic. All 13 Boy Scouts are Indian. Not a single White boy or any other race. This isn’t diversity, this is replacement.

I just realized. Its past midnight and I didn't engage in ANY of my Halloween traditions. I didn't: 1. watch "When Halloween was Forever" 2. listen to any Cypress Hill 3. watch the David S. Pumpkins skit Well, it's too late now. 😭

All evening, I've been reading tweets from people all across the country expressing their disappointment in moden Halloween. From gripes about Trunk or Treat to astonishment at the low number of kids coming to the door. Not everywhere, but it does seem like Halloween is dying.

Awww c'mon. Ghostbusters Afterlife was the nostalgia drenched sequel we waited decades for. It was great and you know it!
We watched Ghostbusters last night and I've always been so grateful they never tried to reboot this series. Just a solid first movie and a decent sequel and then they never made any more. Really shows a lot of restraint.

I understand why trunk or treat is now a thing. I just don't see how it's fun.

Remember when we were kids and if Halloween was on a Tuesday, we just… went out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood on a Tuesday night and went to school on Wednesday with all our candy and traded with our friends and nobody cared and now all of a sudden I’m in a parking lot walking to people’s trunks for some reason? Yeah. Me too. 😭

I recognize the greatness of this show, but I didn't watch it. By this point, HS was in full swing and my Saturdays were filled with drill comps, debate and forensics tournaments, and CAP. Sadly, if I had a weekend off, I spent it sleeping in. Not watching cartoons. 🥺
34 years ago today, X-Men: The Animated Series premiered on Fox Kids and immediately became a '90s classic. Still one of the greatest superhero cartoons ever made.

When I started watching retro cartoons on Tubi and Roku, I discovered some shows had WAY more episodes than I knew about. This is from season 5. RGB has 140 eps. over 7 seasons! I only saw like 15-20 episodes from seasons 1 and 2. Stations didn't air anything else. 🙁

One time, this baby saw me, lit up, smiled, and waved at me. I waved back because who tf doesn't wave at a baby. Parents looked at me like I was on crack, and it's so sad the baby was cooler than the parents. That baby is like 13 now, and I hope she's still waving at strangers.

Just the other day, i was telling someone that, if I had to choose between the internet and malls, I pick malls. And i mean malls at their peak. Fully occupied malls with food courts, candy stores, Hickory Farms, B. Daltons, Kay Bees, arcade, movie theater. You know, a MALL!
What is the one thing from the 80s, that you wish could make a comeback?

Sorry Sean, we're not all CEOs with a cush life. I don't even accept the premise of this tweet. If there was a best time to be alive, it happened between 1973 and 2008. This is the period where the college good job formula of life worked. Its been nothing but chaos since 2008.
I’m sick of people telling me how horrible life is now. By every single metric, it’s the greatest time in human history to be alive. It’s the best time to be alive, you just have to start living man

I don't really care about being an adult. I've always found civilian life to be inherently deeply silly anyway. I've made 100s of thousands of dollars. I used to tell C-suite people how to run their business. And NONE of it has ever made me feel like an “adult”.

Last election cycle, we screamed at the top of our lungs that freedom was at stake. You screamed back that you didn't care because of the cost of eggs. Now, all of a sudden, you seemed to have stopped caring about the high cost of living and "freedom" is a big concern...🤔
Wayyy too many voters concerned about the cost of gas and less about the cost of their freedom. Have we really become that stupid?

Didn't we just have a whole thing this week about not touching kids that don't want to be touched?
Explaining to my very non-snuggly little daughter that I grew her & let her live inside my body for almost a year for the express purpose of being able to have a nice cuddle once in a while, so she doesn’t have a choice in the matter

After 4 years of this being in my library, I finally got around to reading it, and im glad I did. Finally got the REAL history of what happened to the not named clan. Of course Blaine completely upends the story but that's spoilers.

Oh s**t!!! I've been so confused. People keep talking about Dolly Parton dying, and I've been like, “when did she die?”. SHE DIED WHILE I WAS LIVING ON THE STREETS!! I had no internet access! I had no clue!!!

I talk about The Black Hole all the time. My grandparents took me to see it at the Big Chief drive in when I was 3. This is one of those pre-sentient memories I have to fact check with Google. Grandma made me a homemade milkshake, gave it to me in a sippy cup, and off we went!
No one really talks about The Black Hole. Have you watched it? What did you think?
