I’m so honoured to be appointed @UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education and Book Culture, a role that reflects my lifelong belief in the power of books and learning to build bridges.

It was exciting to see SPARK (@SRTIPark) convene researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and investors for Sharjah Next, where the goal is to take us to a more sustainable and collaborative future.

سعدت برؤية مجمع الشارقة للبحوث والتكنولوجيا والابتكار يجمع الباحثين وروّاد الأعمال وقادة الصناعة والمستثمرين في منتدى الشارقة محطة المستقبل، للعمل معاً من أجل مستقبل أكثر استدامة وتعاوناً.

I was proud to join @HHShkDrSultan at Sharjah Next, at @SRTIPark, where we unveiled Uruk, aka AI City, a bold new initiative to harness AI, drive innovation and create opportunities for future generations.

فخورة بمشاركة صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي في منتدى الشارقة محطة المستقبل بمجمع الشارقة للبحوث والتكنولوجيا والابتكار، حيث أطلقنا "أوروك"، مدينة الذكاء الاصطناعي، وهي مبادرة طموحة لتوظيف الذكاء الاصطناعي، ودفع عجلة الابتكار، وفتح آفاق جديدة للأجيال القادمة.

It was a pleasure to attend Sharjah Next alongside@HHShkDrSultan and see innovators, researchers and industry leaders united in their commitment to turning ideas into practical solutions for our sustainable future.

Our @AUSharjah Board meeting reinforced our commitment to developing talent, supporting innovation and strengthening the university’s contribution to Sharjah, the UAE and the wider region.

The @AUSharjah Board of Trustees has met with renewed focus on advancing our strategic priorities. It’s our responsibility to oversee AUS’s evolution with good governance, academic excellence and shrewd planning.

عقد مجلس أمناء الجامعة الأميركية في الشارقة اجتماعاً ركّز مجدداً على المضي قدماً بأولوياتنا الاستراتيجية. سنواصل الالتزام بمسؤوليتنا في الإشراف على تطوّر الجامعة من خلال الحوكمة الرشيدة، والتميّز الأكاديمي، والتخطيط المدروس.

The @AUSharjah Board of Trustees and leadership had an inspiring Fall Engagement Day, as we enter year two of our strategic plan. Their diverse experience and perspectives will be invaluable to our efforts to strengthen and grow the university.

جمع اليوم التفاعلي لفصل الخريف أعضاء مجلس أمناء الجامعة الأميركية في الشارقة وقياداتها في لقاء ملهم، ونحن ندخل العام الثاني من خطتنا الاستراتيجية. تنوّع خبراتهم ورؤاهم سيكون له دور بالغ الأهمية في دعم جهودنا لتعزيز مكانة الجامعة ومواصلة نموها.

The @AUSharjah leadership and trustees had a productive day reviewing progress on our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, looking at lessons from the first year, and considering how toturn our ambitions into measurable outcomes for the university.

أمضت قيادات الجامعة الأميركية في الشارقة وأعضاء مجلس أمنائها يوماً مثمراً بمراجعة التقدّم في تنفيذ خطتنا الاستراتيجية 2025-2030، والوقوف على الدروس المستفادة من عامها الأول، وبحث سبل ترجمة طموحاتنا للجامعة، إلى نتائج قابلة للقياس.

The Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference showcases the vastly diverse creative world of illustration and animation in digital storytelling. It’s inspiring to see so much talent, passion and imagination coming together in Sharjah.

يسلّط "مؤتمر الشارقة للرسوم المتحركة والقصص المصورة" الضوء على ثراء فنون الرسم والرسوم المتحركة وتنوّعها الإبداعي في السرد الرقمي. من الملهم أن نرى هذا القدر الكبير من المواهب والشغف والخيال تجتمع معاً هنا في الشارقة.

I was excited to open the fourth Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference, set up by @SharjahBookAuth. This is where talented creators and experts from around the world meet in a celebration of creativity and visual storytelling.

سعدت بافتتاح الدورة الرابعة من "مؤتمر الشارقة للرسوم المتحركة والقصص المصورة"، الذي تنظمه هيئة الشارقة للكتاب، ويجمع المبدعين والخبراء من مختلف أنحاء العالم احتفاءً بالإبداع وفنون السرد البصري.
