Apparently Berghain have replaced their soundsystem. The old one put in 20 years of service, which means, assuming it was running 40 hours a week at an average of 135bpm (always 4 to the floor, obviously), it played approximately 340 million kick drums during its lifetime

On my way to EDINBURGH to play at
@BongoClub for @hobbes_music and I am really excited as it's been maybe 4 years since I last played in Edinburgh. I hear Bongo has a new soundsystem too which I am looking forward to hearing. I've brought lots of BASSY records with me.

I'm very excited to be playing at @BongoClub in Edinburgh on Oct 7th for Hobbes Music. We've been discussing this gig for AGES (before you know what happened) so it's amazing to see it finally come together! Edinburgh has a place in my heart as it's where I began my raving days..
