Had a dude tell me yesterday, “I can’t believe you let your dog sleep on the bed.”
Looka here… I’d let Checkers drive me to Dollar General if she wanted to. I’d probably even co-sign if she decided to buy her own property to run and raise hell in.
Truth is one day I’ll look over and she won’t be on that bed snoring anymore. Until that day comes, she can sleep wherever she wants.
I stopped in Travelers Rest, SC and got me a tall sweet tea this morning, to keep me hydrated on my way to Lonesome Pine. By the time I hit the Tennessee state line, my eyeballs was floating.
I didn’t wanna mess my arrival time up on GPS, so pee breaks are not worthy of getting off the interstate. We just pull off on the side of road and hit the woods. Anyhow, this might be the most beautiful scenery I’ve taken a leak at in years. Happy Halloween Yall 🎃
P.S. Christmas season DON’T start tomorrow. Leave the trees in the attic. 🦃

LOVE IT!!! Red Baron just publicly stood behind Walter, the worker America rallied around today.
Their words… "He's still here. He's got a fan club. Including us."
Fans pushed his fundraiser past $340K, and Higgsfield AI chipped in $30,000.
Hard work still wins in this country.
I'm buying a Red Baron tonight!
#tbt Let me tell y’all a story. About 22–23 years ago, you could find me at the Golden Pantry in Braselton, GA waiting every Wednesday night like clockwork. That’s when the local county newspaper came out, the Jackson Herald and I had race results to catch up on.
Money was tight at that time in life, so we couldn’t get to Lanier Speedway and Peach State Speedway every weekend. Maybe once a month. There wasn’t a Facebook feed or Race Monitor to check on Saturday night to see what happened, so I’d spend all day Wednesday at school excited to get that sports section and see how my favorite drivers did the Saturday before.
Think about that. A kid waiting four days to find out who won at the local racetrack, insane now but what great times. Those names in the newspaper were my heroes. Looking at these old clippings, I can still remember how much that little trip to the Golden Pantry meant to me.
I’ve gotten the great opportunity to be apart of the FloRacing Broadcast booth for the Inaugural Coalfield Classic this weekend, at Lonesome Pine Raceway.
If you plan on racing the event this weekend, please message me some accomplishments of yours, so I can mention it on the broadcast. This is for All Divisions racing. Crown Vic’s to Late Model Stocks.
I get these vote for me text every single dang day. I fired back today and haven’t heard a ding from the Jackson for Governor folks since. I may have cracked the code 🤷🏼♂️
I know of five racetracks in the United States that have announced in the last month they’re either up for sale or won’t be racing in 2027.
Some of y’all better ask Santa for a new attitude for Christmas. You spend all week tearing down your local track, then act heartbroken when somebody padlocks the gate.
And when you finally list that racecar of yours for sale, “nowhere left to race it” is gonna be one hell of a selling point. Be more kind in 2027.
I’m trying to see something. At your house what do you call the white appliance with magnets on it in this picture??
I’ve heard Frigerator, Icebox, frigidaire, Fridge, Etc……
For those of you that wonder about Checkers. I got some new pillows for my water head yesterday. Before I walked out the door this morning, I noticed that Checkers has apparently claimed dibs on them.

Orange Blossom Shootout winners at Orange County! Big thanks to everyone at Tom Usry Racing. #teamtoyota
No racetrack this weekend. Got up with the chickens to come to the Dawsonville Moonshine Festival with my folks. Such a great time tellin lies, lookin at old racecars and hot rods.
Invested $9.20 for this plate and a cold drink, to sit amongst old timers this morning and gain knowledge at a mom n pop type breakfast joint.
I Learned this morning…. “You can still be right in the situation and owe someone an apology.”
#tbt We’ve been telling stories the past few days about all the good times we had at Florence Motor Speedway with the Zacharias family running it. Here is one from where we took Bittersweet to the low country to race on 400 Weekend and it didn’t end well.
Tyler Woodring just had finished putting a front clip on. First race back. Got flat out dumped running 3rd or 4th. Backed down the hill off turn 2 to a stop. Dude who I didn’t know at the time came barreling in 3 seconds later and knocked the rear clip off, trying to get thru the craziness. It’s wild how the world goes sometimes, that gentleman was my 2026 Alliance Driveaway Solutions STAR Tour Champion. Mr Glenn didn’t have much of anywhere to go looking back, but he never lifted…. Days of Thunder style. A tremendous great friendship came from it.
The dude who dumped us, we went over there to show our 🍑 at his pit and roll around on the ground. We was outnumbered 9 to 2 lol… They woulda beat the brakes off us. Live to fight another day mentality. Car was already destroyed, didn’t need a broke nose too 😂

There’s another title fight in our future.
Kaden Honeycutt has inked an extension that will keep him with TRICON through 2027 ✍️
Lord please let me live long enough to spend every Saturday morning in a place like this. Same table, same old friends, drinking coffee and eatin’ scrambled eggs, and trading war stories and lies we’ve already told a hundred times.
That right there is the life I want.
