He’d be condemned. His career could be destroyed. We’d call it abuse.
Now reverse the genders.
Amber Heard says those exact words, and suddenly people want to debate the difference between hitting and punching.
Since when does abuse depend on who’s throwing the punches?
And let’s not forget Heard’s Washington Post op-ed. Depp said it devastated his reputation and career. A jury later found three statements defamatory, false, and made with actual malice.
But here’s the part that really gets me.
Johnny Depp had the money, attorneys, and resources to fight back.
What about the average man who doesn’t?
The man who loses his job, reputation, friends, or family over an accusation he can’t afford to challenge?
Does he just spend his life labeled an abuser?
Listening to this recording genuinely makes me sad.
If a man hitting a woman is abuse, a woman hitting a man is abuse. PERIOD.
Women deserve to be heard. Men deserve to be heard. And everyone deserves due process.
Being a woman doesn’t automatically make you truthful. Being a man doesn’t automatically make you guilty.
That’s not equality. That’s a double standard.

According to a search warrant affidavit she told deputies: "I SH0T both of my kids."
On Thursday, October 1st, at 4:13 in the morning, a 911 call came in reporting an "unknown emergency" on Big Sky Drive.
When Ellis County deputies pulled up, they say a woman was yelling at them to send MORE UNITS... and telling them she had a GUN in her hand.
Christopher was pronounced d*ad at the scene.
His 15-year-old brother was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
He didn't make it.
Their mother, 42-year-old Colleen Nichole Lemmon, was found with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say evidence at the scene shows she was responsible for sh00ting BOTH boys.
Two counts of capital m*rder.
Bond: $2.5 MILLION.
There is still NO word on why.
Their father now has to bury BOTH of his sons.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Houston after a mother just SH0T and K*LLED her OWN DAUGHTER instead of handing her over to the girl's father after losing custody...
...and the court had ruled she couldn't even be ALONE with that child!!!
The girl went home with her anyway and the mother k*lled her.
Yes, you read that right.
The court itself decided this mother could not be trusted alone with her child. And then her child went home with her, alone, anyway.
Her name was Vivian Savella. She was 4 years old.
Her family says she was "loved without limit."
On Tuesday, September 29th, there was a custody hearing in Houston.
Vivian's father, Aaron, had spent that whole case doing it the right way.
In his family's words: "He trusted the courts. He followed every order. He waited for the process to work."
And on Tuesday, it finally did.
A judge gave Aaron primary custody of Vivian... the right to decide where she lived, her medical care, her schooling.
The mother? Court documents say she was "awarded possession of the child only when continuously supervised."
Vivian was supposed to be handed over to her dad that night.
She never made it.
...but it gets worse
According to the father's attorney, the court never spelled out HOW that handoff was supposed to happen.
The supervision was supposed to come through a court-appointed agency, but the ruling had JUST come down... and no supervisor was with Vivian and her mother that day.
So after the hearing, police say, Vivian and her mother went home. To the same townhome on Terra Reserve Place.
Her stepfather and a babysitter were downstairs.
Just before 6 that evening, they heard gunshots from the third floor.
They forced their way into Vivian's room.
Her stepfather tried CPR.
Vivian didn't make it.
Her mother had SH0T herself too.
She later passed away at the hospital.
A judge put it in writing that this mother could not be alone with Vivian.
Hours later, she was.
And now a father who did everything the law asked of him is burying his little girl.
