After almost 15 years I will be stepping down from running @Gosforth_AFC at the end of this season. If there is anyone out there that would like to take it on in any capacity please get in touch. Maybe a good opportunity an u16 team looking to transition into adult football?

A long journey to Bootle in Cumbria was rewarded by a beautiful venue and very friendly club. One of my favourite football trips this year.

(1). On Thursday 18th June, Libby Evans the daughter of former @MillomRLFC1873 player Paul Evans, underwent surgery to remove two tumours from her brain. I am auctioning off my Match worm Adrian Morley playing jersey to raise some funds to help the family with the long complex..

Can the people who play in the goals out the rugby union please tidy up after themselves. Smashed beer bottles in the goalmouth is not acceptable. We have a junior pitch at that end of the field.....don’t be fucking idiots!!!
