Good morning,
Cam Ward is still the guy that will lead the Titans to a Super Bowl.
That’s all, that’s the tweet.
Only way I’m okay with this situation is if we use this extra capital to move up and make sure we leave the 2027 draft with Jeremiah Smith and Colin Simmons
Any teams out there that would like to make a trade?
You receive: me as a fan
I receive: never having to watch the Titans again
I feel a bit better about getting 2 firsts in return. Still don’t love it, but I’ll get over it as time moves on.
I wish @GrindSimmons94 nothing but the absolute best. Chicago, y’all are getting a freaking dawg.
Last thing I’ll say on this Big Jeff trade speculation bs:
Simmons just signed a 3-year, $105M contract extension this offseason. There is no rush to trade him.
If he was in the final year of his deal and wanted out of Tennessee, sure, I’m all for moving him. If he came out tomorrow and requested a trade, I’d be okay with moving him. But if he still wants to grind it out here, play for the Titans, and help us get back to winning football… Why the hell would we trade him?
The Titans are in Year 3 of this rebuild. In my honest opinion (and I may be biased, I realize that) I feel like this team will compete the rest of the season and be a much better team next year as well.
I keep seeing everyone talk about trading Jeffery Simmons and it just irritates me beyond belief. The Titans should not even entertain trade discussions with any team unless it is a record deal.
This team has already let go of/traded away every other big name they have besides Jeff. We let Derrick Henry walk, traded AJ Brown for picks that gave us Treylon Burks, Roger McCreary, NPF, and Kyle Phillips (All of which are no longer with the Titans). We traded away Kevin Byard for picks that gave us Terrell Edmunds, Jarvis Brownlee, and Jha’Quan Jackson (All of which are no longer with the Titans).
I wonder how much better this team would be if we found a way to keep those guys and build around them.
On top of that, Simmons is only 29 years old. DTs in this league are playing at a high level into their mid-late 30s. (Calais Campbell (40), Cameron Heyward (37), Aaron Donald (35)). Simmons potentially still has multiple years of being a high production guy. (Shoutout @SamuelBrownRBT for pointing this out)
I think I’d rather take the bet on Simmons being elite for 4-5 more years than the bet that we get a similar or better return with the picks we trade him for.

I’m so sick of this. “Yeah let’s trade Big Jeff for a 2027 mid-late 1st where we may or may not be able to get a player that’s almost as good as him.”
We DO NOT need to continue shipping off our core pieces. We aren’t as far away from being a good team as our record indicates. We’ve competed in 4 of our 6 losses where if a few this went differently in those games our record looks much better. This team is young and needs these core guys around.
Y’all are too obsessed with draft picks when you have a bonafide All-Pro, Top 3 DT in the league. Why should we move him??
Refs called everything all game but decide to ignore the most obvious false start I’ve seen in my life.
This dude is genuinely an idiot. These rules would ruin the game
I have 3 NFL rule changes that would instantly improve the current product.
Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on these.

Best defensive lineman in the league and it’s not close.
He really deserves DPOY talks

This is insanely scary.
Imagine if JFM didn’t step up and talk him down. If bro walked into the facility and shot JC, who’s to say he doesn’t shoot anyone else? This dude needs some serious therapy if he ever even had a thought to go grab a gun.
Thank God JC and everyone involved is okay. I hope Jordan gets the mental help he needs.
Ex-#Titans DT Jordan Elliott went to his car to retrieve his gun after a practice altercation with OT JC Latham last Thursday (Oct. 15).
After being told to leave the field, Elliott took off his pads and stormed out of the facility, then went to the players' lot. Security cameras captured the sequence. Veteran DL John Franklin-Myers talked him down, and no one was hurt.
The Titans released Elliott on Tuesday after reviewing the incident. He signed a 2-year, $8M deal this offseason.
News of the incident was first reported by @eastonfreeze and additional details provided by @AaronWilson_NFL.
With the game on the line, Jayden Daniels really went to Treylon Burks😭
I’m sure you can all imagine how that turned out
I’m gonna be honest, the scar of losing to South Carolina 63-38 still hurts.
I’m going into Saturday more worried about a loss than I felt about the Alabama game.

South Carolina has the #3 rush defense in the SEC. They held Baugh to 59 in Gainesville.
In their three losses, opposing QBs have thrown for 365/4 TDs, 251/4 TDs, 272/3 TDs. George MacIntyre is likely going to have to play his best game to date in Williams-Brice on Saturday.
