LANTERNS Writer Vanessa Baden Kelly told Collider: "The thing that I would always say in the room is that if the ring wasn't SEXIST, Bernadette (John's Mom) would have been chosen, because she really is just the most fearless of everybody." So anyone arguing that she wrote the mother crazy so you can't take anything she says seriously... well the person who created her is taking her seriously. In fact, she thinks John's Mom should have the ring. Which means the writer thinks John's mom is right... not crazy! Thoughts?
