What is ML-016? The short answer: ML-016 is BrYet’s lead drug, which has potential to be a first-in-class medicine for metastatic disease. In case you missed it, we just announced that we received approval to initiate our first-in-human clinical study of ML-016 in Australia.
The amino acid-drug conjugate is released into the tumor, where it forms exosome-like vesicles. These “exosomoids” are designed to be preferentially taken up by cancer cells including those that have previously been resistant to therapy.

So, what's next for BrYet? With Australian approval for our clinical study of ML-016 now in hand, we expect the trial enrollment to begin in early 2026. The trial will be led by UniSC Principal Investigator Dr. Brenton Seidl.
