Life is too short for pretending. Give me honest hearts, calm days, and real connections.

Perhaps the greatest illusion of social media is believing that speaking out is the same as taking action. Awareness is important, but without meaningful action, outrage becomes little more than noise. Real change demands more than words !
I came across a fascinating conversation between Julian Dorey @juliandorey and Dr. Neema Parvini that left me contemplating something rather uncomfortable about what we do here on X. Parvini introduces the idea of political containment, suggesting that social media may serve as a remarkably effective pressure-release valve for public discontent. I’ve come to this unfortunate conclusion as well. We come here to express our outrage, expose hypocrisy, challenge authority and occasionally congratulate ourselves for having done so. And perhaps that’s precisely the problem. His argument is that the very act of expressing our dissent can create the illusion of political participation without producing meaningful change. We feel as though we’re resisting the system when, in reality, we may simply be relieving enough frustration to continue tolerating it. He calls this a simulacrum of politics. The appearance of resistance without necessarily achieving its substance. What makes the argument particularly interesting is that it doesn’t require silencing dissent. It suggests that allowing people to vent may itself help preserve the very structures they’re protesting. Now, I don’t believe online discourse is inherently futile. Ideas spread here. People learn, question, connect and organize. But I do think there’s an important distinction between expressing opposition and actually accomplishing something. And perhaps the most uncomfortable question of all is whether we’ve begun mistaking the satisfaction of having spoken for the accomplishment of having acted. There’s considerably more to this interview than this one observation, and I encourage you to watch the entire conversation. It’s the sort of discussion that deserves more than a passing scroll. Oh, that’s SNEAKY. 😂 Mark Carney spends years being called the “unreliable boyfriend.” Then his close friend Chrystia Freeland writes a book about Donald Trump using that EXACT nickname. And now Google has a whole new name to associate it with. Funny how that worked out for Carney, isn’t it? Girl. We see you.

It will be very interesting to learn what they uncover.
HAPPENING NOW: Lorne is cooking. The first thing is a review of the NDP's finances.

At the end of 2025, UNHCR counted about 416,000 refugees living in Canada. For the queue, the latest IRB figures show 252,387 refugee claims still pending at the end of September 2026. It takes 3 years for the first decision to occur. Meanwhile they all receive generous taxpayer funded benefits.

Eby gambled, got crushed, and took the NDP down with him. B.C. has had enough, now the real work begins: building a stronger, more prosperous future for our province !

Race and values are not the same thing. Defending a nation’s culture, freedoms, and principles is not racism. When legitimate debate is silenced by accusations and labels, free speech suffers. A society afraid to defend its values risks losing them.
“Is Racism Necessary?” That’s the provocative title of Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying’s latest discussion. But listen carefully to the distinction Bret makes between race and values. At what point does the fear of being labelled racist prevent us from having legitimate conversations about immigration, cultural compatibility, and the principles that sustain a free society? It’s a question worth examining. I encourage you to watch the full discussion because it’s certainly one worth having.

BCNDP ‘ s Eby playing the TDS Trump card 😂
Ok I found 123 different times that Eby said "Trump" during one of his press conferences held since the election was called on September 22nd. (I put a counter in the top right of the frame of the supercut). Here are all the ones I found in order. Did I miss any? #bcpoli

The targeting of Christian churches during the Paris riots deserves outrage, not silence or excuses. Identify those responsible, expose their motives and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Religious violence has no place in a civilized society. ZERO tolerance!

What the hell is Carney negotiating behind Canadians’ backs? Europe is debating our future while Canadians are left in the dark. This is OUR country, not Carney’s to bargain away behind closed doors. Enough secrecy! Canadians demand the truth and full accountability. NOW!
🚨 EU PARLIAMENT ERUPTS 🚨 🇩🇪 A German MEP warns Canada could become a “living hell.” 📄 We obtained the draft statement circulated by Canada. 🇨🇦 Europe held a dedicated debate. Where’s ours? What is Carney negotiating on Canadians’ behalf? Watch below 👇

You can reclassify spending, but you can't hide the debt. Canadians are tired of Liberal accounting tricks, ballooning deficits and a government that refuses to live within its means. Enough is enough!
How are people still supporting the liberals??

This would be outright treason. No excuses. No cover-ups. A full investigation and the harshest penalties the law allows.
A treasonous Admiral was caught on tape plotting to overthrow our government. The polls are faked, and the "rigged" story is already written. They're desperate, broke and out of time. JoinTAB.us 22 October 2026 #vote #midterms #tab #leadwhereyoulive

ABSOLUTELY YES! 👍 After nine years of NDP mismanagement, British Columbia desperately needs a change in leadership. It’s time for accountability, fiscal responsibility and a government that puts British Columbians first. Bring on a Conservative majority!
Are these the results you'd like to see in BC? 👍

One thing that became clearer as I got older: people are not beautiful for how they look or speak. They’re beautiful for how they love, care, and treat others.
