And by “fight,” I mean I would turn to our phenomenal, bilingual voice director, Teddy, and say, “Please, please, pleeeeeease can I say it again?” And then he’d say something like, “I’ve given you NINE f-bombs already and you’re talking to Eiji here!!! No!”

I fought to have as many f-bombs as possible when recording as Ash, because nobody going through what he goes through would watch their language

I kept my hands raised for that entire scene as we recorded, feeling the cold shackles unforgivingly restrain me as I screamed, tears running down my face. I was a mess afterwards. As an actor, in those moments, it is real. And one of the highest honors to be entrusted with.

Beautiful. Devastating. Unabashedly queer. Unmistakably human. I’ve never be prouder to be part of something. Go watch my husband @BranMci give the performance of a lifetime. (His cast mates aren’t too shabby, either. 😉) Fuck AI.
