🚨I am asking Governor @GregAbbott_TX to immediately call another special session to address the following: - Eliminate property taxes - Stop taxpayer funding of DEI, LGBTQ indoctrination, and liberal Hollywood - Ban taxpayer funded lobbying - End corporate welfare - Cut spending Full letter: --- Governor Abbott: Texas voters gave Republicans control of all Texas government and demanded – and deserved – a bold, conservative session where we slashed government, eliminated property taxes, ended taxpayer funded liberal indoctrination, and protected liberty. The Legislature failed. Three times. Spectacularly. If we do not act fast, Texans will continue to be taxed out of their homes to fund the leftist’s agenda of DEI, LGBTQ indoctrination, and liberal Hollywood. We must stop Texans' tax dollars from ever again being weaponized against them, their values, and their children. The Texas government must finally put TAXPAYERS first! The next generation is literally on the line, and bold leadership has never been more necessary. You have the power to do what Texans demand and deserve, and I am respectfully requesting you immediately call a special session to address at least the following: 1) Put Texas on a path to ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES, cut taxes significantly and immediately, and make all property tax hikes illegal unless approved by the voters 2)Stop all taxpayer funding of DEI, LGBTQ indoctrination, and liberal Hollywood 3)Ban all taxpayer funded lobbying 4)End corporate welfare 5)Repeal all excessive spending increases from the previous bloated budget These actions require immediate action, and I appreciate your consideration, Brian Harrison
