I just published "Product Management Mental Models for Everyone", a latticework of ideas for building products blackboxofpm.com/product-man…
Also coming to you in tweet form:
1⃣-4⃣: 💰 Figuring out Where to Invest
5⃣-🔟: 🎨 Designing and Scoping
🔟➕: 🚢 Shipping and Iterating
This is such a fascinating time for AI companies in terms of strategy:
The cost to copy is zero, the speed of copying is days/weeks, and thus basically everyone is converging on building the same thing (eg dot, muse, instinct, etc)
wtf do you do? who wins and why?
another example: openai's jev nitter.cf/thsottiaux/status/2104…
Just figured out another one for Fable
thinking about making a redflagdeals for tokens
Just discovered the most ridiculous usage hack for codex when you hit limits.
Get local claude code to use ChatGPT Pro 6 (ie. Astra) in the browser like it would use a subagent. Every thread is a subagent, claude prompts it and polls until completion
I call it poor man's astra

So @BrandonMChu and I have been busy finding $$$ for Every users:
- enrich your whole network
- auto or steer your prospecting agent
- ✔️/❌ your leads to start deal agents
👇🏽
New this week in Every:
Prospect targeting - Set up + manage custom searches on your network to find the right leads to move on. Approve or reject to improve results.
Smarter deal plans - Now deal agents build richer plans with emails, DMs, calls, and more ways to check off or replan steps.
Auto enrichment - All your people and companies get enriched automatically, including context across teammates.

We just announced Canada’s new Productivity Mega Deduction.
This cuts Canada’s marginal effective tax rate from 13% to 6.4% on new business investment — the lowest of any major economy in the world.
Canada is building big — and becoming the best place in the world to build.

This storm is insane. Am driving and trees are falling down left right and centre. Hail pounding the car. Scary

The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.
Definitely some sort of tokenflation happening with claude code (post-fable)
before: 1x claude max + 1x codex pro, no weekly limit hit
now: 3x claude max + 1x codex pro and am hitting limits in 5 days
It's possible I'm doing more in parallel, but feels like tokenflation
Just submitted an entry into @swyx's "Kill my SaaS" competition: speakerweave.com
It's truly amazing how low the moat is for niche SaaS. In total, feature parity only took ~1.5 days to hit 100% on the eval. Then I spent 2 more days for polish and adding agentic features, a CLI+MCP, and of course integration to @tryeveryai
This was also done with zero domain knowledge of conference software. I'm not a SaaS doomer, and many incumbents have durable moats wrt distribution/brand and handling high-risk things like money, but damn, there are certainly going lots of zeros, especially in the feature-shallow niches.
## eval competition idea: Help kill my SaaS
my team is proposing to pay >$40k/year for enterprise saas we have never used and will never be able to customize.
as a smol business owner, this feels shitty.
thinking of doing a small remote hackathon:
- i cover $1000 in tokens for you
- you do your best to clone this SaaS in a weekend
- my team (your prospective customer) evals it
- winner gets $10,000 cash & @latentspacepod writeup
- all code is open sourced
everyone wins except high margin low moat saas.
we keep doing this with increasingly ambitious saas things for SMBs until we find the boundary of what saas is still hard to kill in a weekend.
does that work?

Once again, I will die on this hill.

This week:
1. Every in Slack — DM the agent or tag it in any channel, working with your real business data. 💬
2. Connect Airtable + Kondo.
3. Bring your own MCP server.
configure here: --> app.every.ai/agent/connectio…
Of all the amazing things that AI is enabling, rigging codex to be my personal assistant has become one of the most impactful, examples:
1. returns/warranties
2. selling stuff on fb
3. trip planning
4. shopping
5. real estate prospecting
6. personal finance
harness details below:
6/ personal finance
- made a server that connects accounts via plaid
- made a db with a personal finance data model
- seeded all data through plaid + email/drive scrape
- exposed through CLI
- skills to calc tax, rebalance portfolio, optimize estate structure, create reports
UX:
- codex new chat is my iPhone action button
- voice everything
- if I need to loop in wife, then it emails her, polls for responses, and then that lets her use the email thread to talk directly to my codex
- scheduled tasks galore
thanks @thsottiaux and @OpenAI
