A reminder to forever ignore any and all of this disingenious bullshit. 1. Sox and Guardians are only here because someone essentially has to be from the AL Central. 2. Brewers and Rays are the massive outliers/exceptions to the rule. 3. There's zero argument against the fact that money rules in baseball. 4 total times in the last 31 seasons has a team with a below average payroll won the World Series.

MLB Payrolls of the remaining teams, ranked. Guardians: 29th Rays: 28th White Sox: 27th Brewers: 19th Dodgers: 1st So one out of the top 5 teams left spends money, and apparently that means we need a salary cap?

dear god why is gregory soto in this game? this is why the Pirates GM and manager need to go. this guy isn't going to be here in a week and they are still running him out there to blow this game for jared jones

this is what i hate about don kelly. It's obvious Doval has nothing but donny just sits on his hands and watches the game slip away. fortunately it doesn't matter anymore but a week ago i'd be furious. the man has no urgency to win
39
why do the Pirates keep running gregory soto out there?
33
Pirates, please end Paul Skenes' season so he can stop embarrassing himself
39
Hey Don Kelly it's ok to come get Soto before he gives up two runs. that's twice in a row now donny
15
watching don kelly after the game explaining why he left soto in is even more infuriating. "maybe hindsight i should have had weaver up." Maybe? Maybe? go fuck yourself. youtube.com/watch?v=rbAVisN_…

The Pirates are close to being a contender, but they need a competitive general manager and an experienced field manager. Don Kelly has proven he doesnt have what it takes to win. This 8th inning has made that clear, if there was any doubt.
16
Does Don Kelly not realize you can use more than one reliever in an inning? You don't have to let him walk three batters.
13
Don Kelly has to go. I know Soto did the damage here but Kelly sat there and watched it happen, pitch by excruciating pitch, when he had other options.
9
If the Pirates try to re-sign Soto i promise you I will intervene
8
Don Kelly what the fuck are you doing here? Do you not remember the Pirates traded for bullpen help so we didn't have to use Gregory Soto in games like this. Why is he still in there? why?
16
Remember when it was clear the Pirates needed another starting pitcher at the trade deadline and Ben Cherington was like meh, we got some guys in triple A, we'll be fine?
6
why is Isaac Mattson still on the Pirates?
6
hey @MLB are you gonna step in and check this lunatic umpire?

mitch keller returns for the pirates
7
this pirates team is so sloppy and can't hit anymore and they need to fire everyone from cherington to kelly
5
I think Kristian Curtis should get Mlodzinski's starts the rest of the way for the Pirates
8
when can the pirates be done with Carmen Mlodzinski?
