When I say I am pro-life, I truly mean in every aspect.
The death penalty is inhumane and morally wrong. Killing this woman will not undo the trauma she caused in her teens— it will only add more violence and suffering.
In three days, Christa Pike is set to become the first woman executed in Tennessee in more than 200 years.
Back in 1995, at just 18 years old, she killed a classmate and kept a piece of her skull as a souvenir.
Convinced that 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer was trying to steal her boyfriend, Christa lured her to an abandoned steam plant to smoke weed. Her boyfriend and a friend came along.
It was a trap.
For about 30 minutes, they beat Colleen and carved a pentagram into her chest. Then Christa smashed her head with a chunk of asphalt.
Before walking away, she took a piece of Colleen's skull and slipped it into her pocket.
Police arrested her 36 hours later, after she had been showing the piece of skull to friends at school.
At just 20 years old, she became one of the youngest women sentenced to death in modern American history.
For years, Colleen's mother begged the state to return the piece of skull so she could bury it with her daughter. She says she never got it back.

I’ve been saying this for months.
If Erika had nothing to do with Charlie’s assassination (which, to be clear— there was never any evidence of this to begin with) then think about the absolute evil she has been put through for over a year… for literally nothing.
She’s a widowed mother trying to carry on her husband’s organization and honour his legacy… all while having the most heinous lies thrown at her. I can’t imagine how painful it must be.
The cruelty must end!
