I endlessly tinker, inevitably break things, and then fix them to work less well.

I wanted a "smart" deadbolt without chunky keypads or huge battery compartments. I found @levelhomeinc and purchased their Level Bolt with keypad. So far, I'm super impressed.

Women grow an entire human being for nine months, push it out of their body, and then are expected to be back in the office in 6-8 weeks and see the baby for a handful of hours a day. We’ve genuinely normalized this. It doesn’t register as insane until you say it out loud.
What's something thats absaloutely insane that the world has accepted as normal?

4 years ago, I lost power and internet for over 14 days and cell service for 72 hours following Hurricane Ida. I've since added @Starlink mini to my emergency preparedness kit and you should too. Mount by @veritasvans

Congratulations to every single person on the left who’s been campaigning to destroy women’s and girls’ rights. Without you, there’d be no images like this.

It’s insane what can happen when we apply our strategy to a struggling channel. And I have some good news to announce… 🎉 We are now opening up applications to my next 8-week YouTube accelerator cohort! Here’s why it works so well:

Seeing new people in the gym? Try and welcome them so they stick around. We were all there once. Encourage them.

The evolution of tennis through the wear and tear of the grass in the Wimbledon finals In any image of the finals of the 70s, 80s and 2000s you can see how the grass is very worn both in the baseline and in the volley area. And it is not just that now the gardeners have better technologies for the care of the grass that avoid wear, there is also an explanation of the evolution of tennis at a technical level Previously on grass the main strategy of tennis players was the serve and volley. Back then, the Wimbledon grass in the volley area barely made it to the final. In recent years the service boxes are pristine on the last day of the tournament and it is the baseline area that is more sand than grass The explanation is simple: serve and volley are no longer used as before. Wooden rackets were more suitable for this style of play, they were heavier and it was impossible to finish the point from the back of the court, so they tried to win at the net Wooden rackets stopped being used at the end of the 80s and in the 90s, with the revolution of carbon fiber, graphite and other material rackets, the type of game changed. Since then, the game from the back of the court has become the norm on the circuit. With the evolution of materials and physical preparation, today's tennis players follow a common pattern: they are tall, hit hard from both sides, serve very hard and finish points at the back of the court.

We visited @WaltDisneyWorld this month, and I attempted to sync our stroller lights to the nighttime fireworks show. I used an ESPixel stick running a custom sequence I made in #xlights, wrapped the stroller in 600 LED seed pixels, and powered it off one of those phone charging bricks. The hardest part was knowing when to start my sequence to be synced with the show. I think I came pretty close. Let me know what you think. Merry Christmas!
