WineGB members were invited to nominate an individual and give their reasons why, some of them below. 2021's Winner, presented at yesterday's WineGB Celebration yielded a resounding number of votes, making him the clear cut choice: Peter Hall of @BreakyBottom_

Fantastic cheese and wine tasting with the irrepressible @francisgimblett to start the weekend. It was fascinating to hear from @BreakyBottom_'s Peter Hall while sampling a couple of his elegant wines. Hope to visit the vineyard one day soon. 🍇

@BreakyBottom_ Groundbreaking and set the standard. Current offerings still the best example and bargains for such finesse and quality.

A 2014 vintage, made from 100% Seyval Blanc. There’s something very special when this grape works well. @spskelton may have a point about this var. - it’s capable of greatness on its own or in a blend. And @BreakyBottom_ gets the very best from it. Enlightening. 🤔 – at Wessington, England
