Please spread the word that vaginal estrogen is OK in breast cancer!! When that Danish study came out last year we were all a bit shaken, but there we A LOT of issues with it. This is VERY important for quality of life!! #bcsm #MedTwitter

Great news. But if you are 40+, don’t wait another year for this. Tell your family doctor/NP that you want a mammogram now, and they are obliged to give you a requisition to have one outside OBSP. If you get pushback, there are tips to advocate for yourself at @my_screening
Today, Ontario is announcing a major change in breast cancer screening. It will include women in their 40s by self referral to screening programs. Our research and scientific evidence have contributed @Anwilkinson @CanadaSBI

These results suggest that vaginal estrogen therapy in women with GSM and history of BC is not associated with an increased risk of BC recurrence and may hence be safe.
