I’m moving on from MangaAI.
It doesn’t align with my goal of building things truly valuable & worth going all in on.
Crazy since I just got my first payout 🤯 but I’ve learned:
1. Build what you believe in (not trends)
2. Marketing is key
3. Iterate fast
On to the next one 🚀
If you want native📱 go with Kotlin Multiplatform. You can decide to implement something natively or just use a 3rd-party library. No need to wait for a library to support your functionality; you can just implement it on your own. Flexibility, power & ownership all in one stack.
My app now pays for its costs 🎉, a small win that means a lot. Grateful for the journey so far, and excited for what’s next.
No Mixpanel SDK for Kotlin Multiplatform? Built my own. When I realised Mixpanel didn’t support KMP, I didn’t wait; I built platform-specific implementations myself. Here is how I went about it 👇medium.com/@mbakabreens/mixp…
Found a cool KMP library to monitor and log your Ktor network requests & responses. It has made my dev experience easier, great work 👏 @CosminMihu github.com/CosminMihuMDC

This is @vinceglb
Vince is a cool guy. He made FileKit for Kotlin
Vince just made by day because of how good FileKit is. The API just makes sense and I can just focus on my app instead of fighting with platform APIs
Be like Vince 👍

Again a CMP appreciation tweet. It’s butter smooth except the initial launch which i think is related to skia.
Memory and cpu usage is almost fixed, no need of manual gc
Plus we are close to 10K installs on iOS and 100K on Android 🥹

Just want to share this Android Studio AI agent for all the Android and KMP devs out there docs.firebender.com/get-star…. I love it so far; it has sped up my feature delivery. Awesome work @firebender_com 🔥
Revenuecat has impressed me so far. With just a few lines of code, I've been able to set a paywall in both my iOS and Android apps. Thank you, @RevenueCat, for making things easier. Even setting up entitlements, products, and offerings is not hard if you follow the docs.
The new iOS version is live ✨, and some new features have been added. The iOS Paywall is almost done and still waiting on my closed test track app to be approved before I finish adding the paywall to the Android app.
