Through 46 games, Rhule’s Nebraska teams have now lost 10 games in which they had the lead at some point in the fourth quarter. Hard to be be that consistently un-clutch but this guy is proving himself to be an absolute master choke artist.

Huskers have played Oregon in Eugene twice in the past 9 seasons. In one game, they scored 35 points…and lost. In the other, they held the Ducks to 17 points…and lost. Unreal. 🤦‍♂️

In golf terms, Huskers have on at least 10 occasions, needed a two putt from 15 feet on the 72nd hole to win the tournament. They keep trying to lag that putt and have ended up three putting every single time. At some point, it’s time to focus on making the 15 footer.

Enough evidence now to conclude that Rhule can make poor teams decent but can’t make good teams great. Look at his record against ranked teams. Great teams don’t merely hope other good teams give games away…they go and seize them. Rhule does not appear to grasp that reality.
