As Easter approaches, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is providing a variety of resources to help people draw closer to the Savior. These include Easter videos, music playlists and a Holy Week study plan in Gospel Library. And this week’s “Come, Follow Me” study guide is all about Easter.
Presiding Bishop W. Christopher Waddell joined humanitarian leaders in Europe to discuss caring for those in need. He spoke in two roundtable discussions in London, England, and in Brussels, Belgium, and reflected on the Church’s commitment to caring for those in need as an expression of discipleship.
Bishop Richard C. Edgley, who was the Church’s Presiding Bishop for nearly 20 years, has died at the age of 90. He was born in Preston, Idaho, and died in Centerville, Utah. Funeral arrangements are pending.

In Times Square, the billboards went dark—then lit up with a message of hope: Jesus Christ is the reason for Christmas. A glowing Nativity reminded us He was born for each of us—to bring peace, purpose, and healing. Share this message with someone today.

The Lord is preparing His Church and His people, those who bear His name, to receive Him. As part of our preparation for His coming, He will lift each of us so we may rise to spiritual challenges and opportunities unlike any seen in the history of this world.
How, then, can each of us participate in this work of such magnitude and grandeur?
When we take repentance as a joyful opportunity because of our growing faith that Jesus is the Christ, when we understand and believe that Heavenly Father hears our every prayer, when we strive to obey and live the commandments, we grow in our power to receive continuing revelation.
The Holy Ghost can be our constant companion. A feeling of light will stay with us even as the world around us becomes darker.
As we pray and grow our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior and our Heavenly Father as our loving Father, we become a vital part in the Lord’s work as He prepares the world for His Second Coming.

Across faith traditions, sacred spaces—whether soaring cathedrals, quiet temples, majestic mosques, serene synagogues, or humble meeting places—hold deep meaning. These houses of worship stand in nearly every land, offering refuge and inspiration for the faithful.
I was grateful to share these thoughts with global faith leaders at the Eighth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the Palace of Independence in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Regardless of religion, we honor the divine call to foster peace, mutual respect, and lasting fellowship for the whole human family.

This morning, I described how blessed it is to be a peacemaker and how peacemaking begins in the most basic place: in our hearts, then in homes and families.
As we practice there, peacemaking will spread into our neighborhoods and communities.
Peacemakers are sometimes labeled naive or weak from all sides. Yet, to be a peacemaker is not to be weak, but to be strong in a way the world may not understand.

They are calling it a miracle! Learn why residents of the small Navajo community of Westwater near the Four Corners area are grateful to the state of Utah, the Navajo Nation and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for collaborating to make the miracle a reality—clean running water. Watch the celebration in Blanding, Utah, that brought the state’s Lt. Governor, Church leaders, Navajo Nation and Blanding communities together on April 25, 2025, and hear the heartfelt reaction from the Westwater community’s president.

On Friday, we can remember that Jesus Christ was crucified. But even in His suffering, He offered forgiveness. Is there an old grudge or resentment that is weighing you down? Today, ask the Lord for help to ease the burden you’re carrying. #GreaterLove
