I was a congressional intern in DC during the 1994 Republican wave.
I had just started my career when Bush came to power thx to hanging chads in 2000.
I had recently come to understand how the world actually works when Obama was elected in 2008.
I had a better understanding when Trump was elected as a rejection of the Obama era in 2016.
When Biden upset Trump in 2020 it showed that a generational Cult of Personality does not guarantee victory.
And when Trump won again in 2024 some thought it was the end of Political History.
Yesterday's mid terms showed that previous belief was not to be.
What is the commonality in all of these?
The marketing changes. But the actions do not.
The only thing that changes are the names.
Pendulum and Ratchet.

Elon Musk says the AI boom will hit a WALL by the end of 2026.
He says the whole industry is about to learn a hard lesson in hardware.
Chip output is exploding, but electricity is nearly flat everywhere outside China.
So the two lines cross this year.
He says by the end of the year, we will be making more AI chips than we can actually turn on.
Millions of them pile up with nowhere to plug in.
In his words, the bottleneck for the next year is not chips, it is raw power.
Whoever can turn on the most chips fastest wins the race.
In the end, the AI race comes down to one thing:
Raw electricity.

The Swiss franc could go through the roof, or not survive at all.
