To celebrate the @IrishBookAward, we're offering 10% off all the shortlisted books, between now and the awards on Dec 1st. If there's a book on one of the lists that I don't have in stock, just ask, and I'll get it for you. Offer applies both in-store & online. No code needed!
If someone decides to make another version of Wuthering Heights, James Nelson-Joyce would make a good Heathcliff, imo.
I would like to state, for the record, that is do not have a tattoo saying 'I LUV LOZZA' on my buttock. It says LOVE not LUV ๐๐

An eight year old girl, Penny, shares the same birthday as me. She brought me a belated birthday present. I love a pine cone!
(And yes, she got to choose a book as a belated gift from me. I'm not a complete monster)
Thanks to everyone who bought a copy of Gruffalo Granny between Sept 10th & Oct 10th. With our friends at @panmacmillan, we are donating 92 copies of It's The Gruffalo to the @NIHospice and to BPositive. We estimated selling 60 copies, so the extra allows us to share the spoils!
Today's theme for big new arrivals is PINK!
Book 6 in the Acotar series phenomenon, A Court Of Splintered Harmony, and the poetry queen Donna Ashworth's, The Art of Being Easily Pleased.

Thank you Bridge books for my copy of Sally Rooneyโs Conversation with Friends.
Beautifully packaged.
It's not even 9pm, yet it feels like it's about 11pm. The clock going back really messes with my head. To be fair, that isn't hard to do.
After an awful yet lovely week, Iโm blown away by your support. Drawing a line under the nastiness so no

I'm on catch up with #IrishBookADay for #IrishBookWeek, so here's yesterday's book for 'Share a Book set in Northern Ireland'. I've chosen the fab debut, She and I, from the wonderful human @_HanKing!
You know it will be a good day when a fellow Irish Book Award Shorlistee drops in & squiggles on his books! It was lovely to see @paddydonnelly again. Congrats to Paddy for three nominations in the Irish Book Awards!
(My hair was giving 'hedge backwards' vibes, hence the 'hat')
I was a fun sponge yesterday, but today I have GOOD news! Iโve made the final in the @IrishBookAward! I'm over the moon to represent NI/The North and to be in such wonderful company. I've no notions of winning, I'm just delighted to be in the final. I'm going to need a new frock!
If this wasn't bad enough, now I'm being accused of doing it myself because, apparently the handwriting is the same as the note I have on the door about not bringing drinks inside. Yes, I wanted the expense of installing cctv and having the door repainted๐
I'm officially done.
