NFT launches have an interesting problem: transparency can sometimes work against the participants.
Think about bidding.
When bid amounts are publicly visible, participants may adjust their decisions based on what others are offering. That can influence how a sale unfolds.
This is one area where Fungo's approach gets interesting.
For its Genesis NFT sale, @FungoLabs is introducing an encrypted bidding system built with Zama's Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
The idea is to bring computation into the bidding process without requiring sensitive bid information to be exposed in plaintext.
That's an interesting shift from simply putting digital collectibles on-chain.
It explores how privacy can become part of the actual mechanics of an NFT marketplace, not just the asset itself.
I'm interested to see how this develops and what other use cases emerge from it.
