I'm dead serious when I say I won't be excited for the start of next season. I'm trapped here as a fan of this piece of shit team, so I will be following them yet again to my own detriment, but I will not exhaust any positive energy or money into them in 2026.

Allowing Tampa to stay alive in the hands of "Shane Drohan" instead of any of the killers at Pat Murphy's disposal is already his biggest mistake of this World Series and hopefully doesn't hurt them more than just forcing them to play a fifth game.
Friendly reminder the only time in the last two decades the Yankees won a World Series with a position player 'out of position', per se, was former multi-time Gold Glove winner and MVP Alex Rodriguez at third base. A position he had transitioned to 5 years prior.
