Disconcerting decision at best, but feels irresponsible!
Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on.
“Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”
First quarter number from @MBStadium …
Bears lead Falcons 14-0 on the scoreboard, 19-5 in total plays, 154-3 in total yards, 122 to -3 in passing yards, 32-6 in rushing yards, and 12:12 to 2:48 in time of possession.

Perhaps some good news for the Braves…
All four of the former players on the pre-game show just picked the Dodgers.

The Braves have had quite the run in SP to face this PS...
vPHI: Luzardo, Sanchez, Nola (Wheeler in relief)
vLAD: Skubal, Snell, Yamamoto, Glasnow
Combined those 8 are collecting $198M in salary this season and are under $1.2B in contracts.
No excuses, just an observation.
Chris Sale is Letting It Fly!
He has 6Ks in 2 innings of work.
In other words, every out recorded to this point, has been a strikeout!
He has thrown 42 pitches though.
