It took me 2 years to get to $10k MRR.
Never went viral, never grew with ads.
Never had an audience.
I just followed the advice of the ones who did it before me.
Here's the advice:
YOU NEED TO START SEO ON DAY ZERO
But the problem is...
on day 0, you have $0
So to celebrate romeoseo.com reaching $1k MRR, I'm starting:
POOR FOUNDER DISCOUNTS
How it works:
1. DM me your TrustMRR link
2. If below $1k MRR, you get 50% off Romeo
+ I will give you a 30-minute SEO call with me where I roast your SEO
Why am I doing this?
50% because I wanna give back,
50% because I want to test new skills on smaller sites
Be my test subject, get 50% off, get some clicks
WE CROSSED $1K MRR with romeoseo.com🥳
Launched in September, now we're here
Here's everything I did:
1. MOST IMPORTANTLY
I built a product with tons of competition.
People already pay for these tools (and they pay well)
I didn't have to waste time explaining why my product is useful.
2. I built something I knew
I've been doing SEO for years now. My $12k MRR app runs FULLY on automated SEO.
I just took my own agent and turned it into a SaaS
3. I copied what the winners are doing.
A LOT of these SEO apps grow through articles on X and Linkedin
So I wrote articles and posts on X and Linkedin
Some articles did SUPER well. Most failed.
Gotta do more there.
4. Hard paywall, 3-day trial, capture credit card
Here's my plan for the next step
1. More articles on X and Linkedin
2. SEO (obviously) dogfooding my own product
3. Outbound! I'm super nervous about this because I've never done it. But I know it works
4. More and more product launches. I'm going to treat every new feature as a completely new launch.
I feel incredibly lucky and grateful ❤️
Thank you for all the support so far guys

Show up in ChatGPT SEO with a FREE Chrome Extension🐈⬛🔥
The exact workflow I run for my site (25k clicks/month), made simple
Step 1: Download the free chrome extension (link at bottom)
Step 2: Go to ChatGPT and ask a question where you want to show up
Step 3: Check all of this:
1. What sources did ChatGPT use?
2. What questions did ChatGPT ask?
3. Who is showing up the most?
Then you do this:
1. Create content that answers the exact questions ChatGPT asked
2. Improve existing content to better answer those questions
3. (optional) Reach out to sites that ChatGPT is using as sources. Do backlink exchanges
4. Ask Romeo how to go 1 step further. Let him create tasks and automatically do them for you🔥

Most important takeaway: Painkiller vs Vitamins
A product can be a painkiller or a vitamin at the same time.
It depends on who you sell it to.
For example, for a fast typer like myself, my dictation app is a vitamin.
For someone with Parkinson's, my dictation app is a painkiller.
Always be a painkiller.
Other examples are:
Grammarly.
A vitamin for native english speakers (more polished text)
A painkiller for non-native speakers (actually correcting their text and grammar, not just polishing)
Speechify (text to speech)
Vitamin for productivity bros (Listen to written content to maximise learning)
A painkiller for the blind (Listen to written content you can't read)
How to find the right customer:
1. Make sure your product actually solves a problem
2. If the value of your product is 10x (e.g. costs $8, but saves $80), then find the people who get 100x value from it (costs $8, benefit is $800)
3. Go into the full extremes of the niches
Here is an example for Voicy:
5x value: Standard productivity bros who can type fast
10x value: Older computer users who can't type fast
50x value: People with intense wrist pain from typing
100x value: People with disabilities that do not allow them to type at all (e.g. late-stage MS, amputees, parkinsons)
And remember, if you think that 100x niche is too small, you're probably wrong.
Good luck, have fun❤️
He built a dictation app for his dad. Now it makes $18K/month.
Meet Kourosh. He grew up in Tehran, moved to London at 18, studied business, and learned to code from an actual book during COVID.
Two years ago his dad came to visit, and Kourosh ended up in the hospital, stuck in bed for two weeks. His dad sat next to him all day typing. Click, click, click. One email took him “two to three business days.”
So Kourosh built him a tool that lets him dictate anywhere on his computer.
That tool became Voicy.
It’s a speech-to-text app running on OpenAI’s Whisper, in a market where “everyone and their mom has built one” and competitors like WhisperFlow have raised millions.
The numbers today:
> $16K–$20K/month in revenue
> $11K MRR + a $260 lifetime deal
> 10,000 monthly active users
> 1,400 active subscriptions
> All built as a side project next to his 9-to-5
The twist came from user calls.
60–70% of users were fast-typing professionals who wanted to be 10% more productive. The other 20–30% were seniors and people with disabilities, and they loved the MVP as it was.
So he went all-in on the customer nobody else wanted. He even added a 20% disability discount, and 20% of his users are on it now.
His take: “Dictation tools to you and me are vitamins. To the people that I’m serving, it’s a painkiller.”
How he grew it:
> Chrome Web Store + 5 friend reviews → first 100 users
> Reddit posts until he got blocked → 200–300 users
- SEO: 200 blog posts, 30 landing pages, 4–5 languages
> YouTube series “AI for Seniors” → 1K to 12K subs in a month
His advice: “Turn off your brain. If you think you can grow your app by writing a blog post, write 10.”
There’s no such thing as a saturated market. Some customers are just being ignored.
Claude + 47 SEO/AEO Skills = SEO SOLVED

Taking my own advice
Shipping a SICK chrome extension for romeoseo.com this week🤞
BUILD A CHROME EXTENSION RIGHT NOW
Every day my app's extension gets:
- 50 downloads
- 150 page views
- 3k Impressions
And it's all just a funnel to my main product
The other benefits:
- A backlink from Google (100 DR)
- Extensions show up in Google Searches
Here's exactly what you need to do:
Step 1: Identify the extension to build
Hot take: do not build the most valuable extension in terms of functionality
Optimise for search volume
Give this prompt to your agent:
"We want to create a Chrome Extension for my product. Analyse my product and the Chrome Web Store. Put together a short list of possible extensions we could build. Then go to the Chrome Web Store. Search for similar extensions. Give me the best options not just based on the functional value of the extension, but based on search volumes, competition, and possibilities of us ranking high in the search of the chrome web store"
Generally, if the search volume for your product is high in Google, it'll be high in the chrome web store
Step 2: Build it
Honestly, any agent can one-shot this nowadays
Step 3: LOCALISE IT
Ask Claude to localise your extension into the main European languages.
Step 4: Publish it
Important: Your description needs to contain keywords that people search for.
Tell Claude to find the top 5 chrome extensions that are similar to yours, analyse their descriptions, and then create your description
Step 5: Record a super quick Youtube demo
Having videos on your Chrome page is important
Step 6: Optimise
That's it!
I made $26,885 in October 2026
🎙️ Voicy - $19,822
🐈⬛ RomeoSEO - $959
🧑💻 Contracts - $5,626
🎥 Youtube - $500
I'm down like $5k from last month because I stopped one contracting gig
But romeoseo.com went from $269 to nearly $1k in revenue this month!!!
Biggest win this month: I stopped looking at Stripe every hour.
I had fun building things again.
I stopped doing a contract role I didn't enjoy.
Life is good and I'm so grateful❤️
I made $107,142 in October 2026

"Android users don't pay" is a lie
My numbers are tiny, but Android always makes me more than iOS.
If you have an iOS app, there is no reason why you shouldn't build the Android version.
You have no excuses. Even if it's a native app.
257% growth rate so in 2 years my MRR
will be
$17.61 quadrillion
Not bad
Pishi LLC FZ by @buildingwaves just joined TrustMRR

But let me show you how my tiny app beats VC-backed giants like Wispr in SEO
And how you can do it too
