Think this is a solid appointment, Parker was fantastic for the club, knows how it works & what makes the fans tic. Hopefully he is the man to get the club straight back into the top flight ⚒️

He's been many characters to many people, but like most of my generation he'll always be remembered as Captain Jean-Luc Picard or as Professor Charles Xavier. A true legend of film, television and of course theatre, boldly going to his final frontier. RIP

Bit surreal watching the BLEACH finale today, it was one of the first anime that got me hooked (along with Full Metal Alchemist & Inuyasha) and after over 20 years the story is finally complete. Even with average filler arcs, it's been the best Anime out there for a long time 👌🏼
Completely missed this news the other week. This Is My Demo remains one of my favourite albums, and tracks like Still Speedin and Level Up will always be 🔥🔥
RIP Derek Safo

The guy wrestled on ppv Saturday night, by the end of the next day he's no longer with us. 40 years young too, bloody hell. Big shock, thoughts go out to his family and friends
RIP

Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.
Up until a couple of days ago I had no idea who Falling In Reverse were. Even now, not much of a clue, but when you get Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian together on the same track, they must have something about them. Well played 👏🏻

It is with deep and profound sadness that West Ham United announces the passing of legendary former goalkeeper and coach, Luděk Mikloško.
Rest in peace Luděk, our beloved, inspirational goalkeeper and gentle giant of a man.
Took 8 weeks to pick up a win last season, and while this was "only" the Titans & our old pal Saleh, there's no guaranteed wins in the NFL, so this is a big W for the Jets. Great start to the season, glad to have the NFL back again #Jets
6 of the best, 4 league wins in a row, 3 points to start the weekend right. Very happy with that performance and result. No notes.

Always well behind on TV series these days, but finally getting through the final episodes of The Boys at the moment. Gotta admit though, it's a struggle. It's one of those shows I've seen so many episodes of, I feel I have to drag myself through the last few just to end it...
Only taken four games to get the first win in the bag, could definitely have been worse though. Onwards and upwards #COYI
Can we just stop the world for a bit now, first it was Dolly, then Tim Curry, now Optimus Prime Peter Cullen. I guess they say shit like this comes in threes
RIP to a man who was the subject of one of the great music trivia tidbits of all time, the only member of ZZ Top without a beard...

Promotion/success certainly isn't determined in the first game of the season, but I think there was plenty of hardened Hammers who may have expected this result at 2-0 up, or at least not been too surprised 😂 Gonna be a long year again but it could be worse I suppose....

I've worked on the railway over 26 years, and seeing passenger trains derail is thankfully a very rare occurrence, but two in as many days is a bit worrying to say the least. Hopefully everyone involved is ok.

In February 2016 myself, my brothers & a couple of mates started a wrestling podcast, The Smarkcast. After some cracking times, in May 2020, we recorded our last episode (although we didn't know it at the time). We had a blast over that time and had a lot of laughs...
The Smarkcast did help me find my feet as such, and inspired me into doing a solo podcast, or blogcast as I called it, talking about my own shit and experiences. That ended ages ago now too, but it definitely made a difference to me. It also was the base for my Japan trip in 2018
