real behind the music shit
Kimberly Guilfoyle was preparing for her congressional hearing to become U.S. ambassador to Greece when she reached out to a Trump donor with an urgent request: She needed $100,000 that she said she owed American Express—in a way that wouldn’t leave a paper trail.
“It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express,” she wrote on Signal, according to messages reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. “Please.”

NEW: We’re suing the Trump administration.
Trump personally ordered his administration to use taxpayer dollars to fund political propaganda.
This is an illegal and desperate attempt to boost the GOP ahead of the midterms, and we’re fighting back.

It’s pretty clear Rick’s team knows he lost the debate last night. They’ve clearly gone into full crisis mode. All we're seeing today and from last night is an influx of misleading tweets and videos about Keisha's record as mayor of Atlanta. Hey, Slick Rick, lying won't fix how terrible and out of touch you were last night on the debate stage. #gasstores

“I like Susan Collins… But God could be running as a Republican and I would vote against him or her because I think this country will be destroyed if Trump has another two years unfettered.”

To demonstrate how the Supreme Court has changed over time, we’ve created data visualizations to highlight the trends toward longer tenures, narrowing Senate confirmation votes, and fluctuations in the number of appointments by each president. bit.ly/47DWAuZ

The Trump admin has declined to invite election observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe to witness the midterms — meaning observers from the group won't be at a U.S. election for the first time in more than two decades.

True-Party Affiliation will be on the ballot this November. Truer: Republicans passed a discriminatory law to remove party affiliation for county races in only 5 Metro counties in 2028. Truest: We need to elect a Gov Bottoms and flip the GA State House and undo this mess!

Corporate profits and tax revenues grew together until the Trump tax cuts.
Now corporate profits are at an all-time high while tax receipts are at their lowest since 2021.

The problem with the Rick Jackson plumber line, where he said his plumber drives a Mercedes, is not the fact that his plumber drives a Mercedes. The problem with that line is that it's just out of touch when we're talking about the fact that gas prices are high and we have an affordability issue across the way
To be frank I could give less of a damn that his plumber drives a Mercedes. Sallie May is freaking kicking my backend. I got to figure out what I'm going to do with my healthcare when my premium probably goes up at some point in time at the end of the year, regardless of who wins the governor's race
So that line shows how out of touch he is and I just don't think you can dismiss it as just something that folks don't understand or try to wash over it like the gas store thing. This dude is not tapped into what is really going on with Georgians. He just wants to buy the governorship
I just really wish we would stop shooting bail for these Republicans for every single solitary thing. If Keisha had said something similar to that, not only would Republicans have been going crazy about what she was saying but there would have been folks that aren't voting for Rick Jackson next month or in a couple of weeks that would be saying that she did badly in the debate
Just, respectfully, I want consistency all around

The analysis found that defense companies backed by Donald Jr. and Eric, including Vulcan Elements, Firehawk Aeropace and PsiQuantum, had been awarded more than $6 billion in active or promised government contracts, since the two invested in the companies.

Just a reminder to all Americans struggling to pay for groceries, gas, rent, healthcare and basic necessities. Donald Trump and his family have made over $4 billion by cashing in on his presidency in one year.
