It will be interesting to see how Dan goes about reconstructing this roster for next season because throughout this post season Angel has proved to you that she's ready to win now. The focus now has to shift to getting players that compliment her and not the other way round.
Everybody is finally waking up to her at least. I appreciate the fact that she does the little things for us but we are also paying her 850K a year. There has to be more production that's expected from her because AR cant be carrying the load by herself in the front court.
He never draws any for her. We went the whole season without seeing inverted or even back screens to get her going. I've said it before too, Karl only uses Angel as a means to get the guards going. She has to set multiple screens for them but they never do the same for her.
Another player that I'm extremely proud of is Izzy Borlase man. I don't think people understand how tough it is for a 22 year old rookie to do what she did this post season. We need to give her more offensive responsibility next season because she's not afraid of the moment.
There's enough proof that they just cannot get it done as a duo because they rarely have games where they both play well. Getting Angel on the team definitely helped increase their ceiling, but with Lish and Rhyne as your 1 and 2 you are always going to fall short in big moments.
This is what people do not understand man. When you get to this stage, you have to take advantage of your opportunity.
Congrats to the Golden State Valkyries, man. Atlanta Dream, changes need to be made this offseason because performances from certain players this postseason were not good enough.
Karl Smesko taking Angel out in those final third-quarter minutes lost us this game, bro. I actually can't believe the level of coaching that I witnessed from him tonight.
I am not going to lie to you guys. I think it might be over man, the Dream have not shown that they can beat this Valks team when the game is tight in the fourth quarter.. It's been a good season though yall 💔
