I’ll miss the 4th-rounder we could’ve gotten for Payne but only a little because this crew probably wouldn’t have made the forward-thinking move anyway.
"communication"
"kicking operation"
"under center"
"situational awareness"
"clock management"
and now, intensely for weeks, "pre-snap operation"
Basic, non-negotiable, minimum-wage football responsibilities that we discuss in this market like elusive keys to enlightenment.
Peters has been disappointing. Three offseasons is plenty of time but this roster still sucks. I’d give him another chance with a new coach but that’s almost entirely based on his pre-Washington reputation.

How long do we give Peters before considering his drafting an overall bust? I cannot see Harris tolerating Rivera-level performance from his GM/Coaching team.
Been following, like usual. Just haven’t seen anything worth talking about.
Days since my last tweet: 365
Commanders regular-season wins since I dipped: 3
Number of NFL teams with fewer wins in the last calendar year: 0
Also, if the season deteriorates further from disappointing to downright embarrassing, you are going to be encountering A LOT more bitching online and on the radio about "Commanders" than you did in 2024. The wound will rip open.
With every coming loss my interests will slide away from scheme and strategy, and more toward big-picture. Declining vets become irrelevant. Which coaches gotta go? How do you reboot the rebuild? From the moment a current season becomes futile, the future is all that matters.
We all know where the season is headed. Maybe they'll mess around and flirt with contention but they're not contenders. Defense will never put two good halves together against a decent opponent. More demoralizing losses coming. It does affect my interests, and interest level.
First half was weird and Skins were playing hard has hell so we had a game. Second half, everyone found their level.
I like going for it. And I don't even mind taking a shot there. Catch 'em off guard and it's a decent opp for your QB2 to get 6 against a better team. But they just didn't execute.

just to make this clear:
the spot of the ball is made by the refs using their eyes and no technology
the "virtual measurement" just prevents a chain gang from running onto the field
the refs can still give BS spots and there is nothing the "virtual measurement" does to fix
