Burn

I know I pop in and out a lot, but many have reached out wondering where I have been or what's been going on so figured i'd give an update. A little over a year ago, I fully moved in with my Mom as she started having major health issues. In the midst of it, we found out she had cancer. We caught it real early which is great and the radiation has appeared promising so far. However, almost three months ago, they spotted another, different cancer. The doctors are confident that they can remove most if not all of it with a surgery and avoid chemo entirely. But, her health has been too risky to perform it, and we only have about a 5 month window before chemo would be the only option. I'm sure there are many that can relate to the pain of seeing someone you care about hurting and the helplessness you can feel knowing that there isn't anything you can truly do to fully alleviate it. Which then makes it easy to undermine our efforts because none of it truly "fixes" it. Just because you can't "fix" it, doesn't mean you can't make it easier to go through. I feel like it is important to remember just how powerful your presence alone can be during times like these. There have been major highs and lows in this uncertain journey, and reason to arcs and projects being cut short or seemingly abandoned abruptly by me. So i'm sorry for that. As much as i'd like to avoid these outcomes, I can't guarantee they won't happen again given the volatile nature of this beast. With all this said, to end on a more positive note- This past month, my mom's overall health has gotten into a way better spot than it has in awhile and we're quite confident she'll be able to get the surgery in time! :)

I'm excited to share that my hiatus is concluding! It's been awhile... Not sure what to expect, but it's time I bring my projects to light. See you in March! (Official date will be announced soon. Should be around mid March. o7. )

For the longest time I've been trying to figure out what to say. I don't want to get too personal but I hate leaving things open ended. I am known to disappear on occasion, usually due to burnout, but this hiatus is different. There were family health concerns that propped up amongst other things that sapped me. I didn't want my viewers, let alone my friends in this space to see me like this. So I moved closer to my family, picked up a new job, and vanished... I appreciate those who have reached out, and to some I haven't responded to, I'm sorry. It has been a rough couple months, but lately things have been getting better! - not only for me, but my family too. Because of this, you probably have and will start seeing me around the twitch-o-sphere on and off streams more often. I also have horrible internet during the week so it'll mostly be on weekends. Thanks for reading. I look forward to collaborating and creating again. Slow and steady.
