I cannot with the era of “criticism” that’s just not based on anything but gut feeling.
It’s not constructive. It’s not helpful. It’s just whining because you’re unhappy. Which is fine— but just call it that. Don’t pretend like it’s some sort of objective truth.

I’d say far worse than halo, atleast halos gameplay wasent a step backwards
The sensationalism and rampant escalation of rhetoric and claims across social media are responsible for like 50% of all our problems, beyond gaming but just in general as a nation and society.
Crazy that 6 mfs are allowed to basically own and control the content ecosystem.
This is why due diligence matters. Reporting a figure without properly establishing what it represents, providing the necessary context or challenging the assumptions surrounding it is an abdication of journalistic responsibility.
There's an increasing willingness to put sensational claims into circulation and let the audience fill in the gaps. The resulting speculation is then allowed to take on a life of its own, while the important qualifications arrive much later, if at all.
I'm settling back into writing big long video essays and I forgot that it just feels like this for the first several hours of research.
I get that it's set decor and supposed to get across that even the survivors are steeped in war, but I love that the bar in Act 4 is just littered with bullet casings kinda like- everywhere? Somebody get a broom god damn.
Honorable mention to Mags' Blast Armor but these are just some of the best fits ever introduced in a Gears game.
It’s always extra hard to take the opinions of disingenuous mobs seriously when this is routinely the quality of their argument.
No credibility, no accountability, just straight bullshit.
Marcus begins game 1 in prison.

Wrong sir. Marcus was always in control of his unit. Contacting control. Leading the way.
Not so in E-day.

I was able to join @TacCom and @CarmineForever in this collab discussion! Make sure to watch on Chap's channel everyone! youtube.com/watch?v=mPGh-v8R…
It’s funny that Mags’ entire narrative purpose in this Act is to serve Marcus’ story and play second fiddle to his (albeit flat) development and people walk away from it thinking that it’s her stealing the spotlight.
Imagine if Cole spoke like 10% more often.
Sempre tomando as decisões.
Qual a patente do Marcus no momento do jogo?
E qual a da Mags?
