A 20-year-old student of Gautam Buddha University (GBU) was served a show-cause notice on September 4 by the Greater Noida Commissionerate for “spreading anti-government propaganda” and “inciting” university students to join the Jantar Mantar protests. The notice was withdrawn the next day.

At govt school on the outskirts of Bhopal- The classrooms don’t have an electricity connection and many do not have fans or lights. The switchboards have been removed and the wires taped shut. Over the phone, Malviya says that the school building has been in poor condition for about five years. Living with pellets in their body- Two weeks after at least four protesters sustained pellet injuries during the July 20 protest march to Parliament, some pellets remain lodged in their bodies, with doctors removing only those that pose a greater risk if left inside.
Prashant Kumar Singh, a 25-year-old artist who was among the protesters injured by pellets, was discharged from hospital on Tuesday after undergoing surgery to remove multiple pellets.
According to him, around 15 pellets were lodged in his body, causing multiple injuries to his arm, forearm and chest.
Last week, Mr. Singh had said he was unable to work on his artwork because the injuries were on his right hand.
