MAJOR GACHA UPDATE Wang Yue (望月 / Moon Gaze / Wangyue) is a Chinese urban open-world Gacha game (creature-collecting, modern Chinese city + mythical themes) by Shiyue Network / Stars Studio (星辰工作室). Recent reports point to a possible switch from Unity to Unreal Engine 5 - Around October 22–26, high-profile job postings appeared for a UE5 Client Lead Programmer (UE客户端主程) for the Wang Yue project. Key details: Salary roughly 100–200K RMB/month × 16 salaries (million+ RMB annual package). Location: Guangzhou. Job description explicitly calls it a “UE5 self-developed anime urban open-world ARPG 《望月》” and seeks someone to lead client architecture for it. This is a major style change for Wang Yue and could also potentially delay it YEARS. It is an urban open-world Gacha game that was supposed to compete with Ananta and NTE.

THEY WON. I think we may be approaching the end of an era with Snowbreak, chat. THE CRAZIES WON. Not only has the game been trending at <100 concurrent players, making less money than your average Mcdonalds burger flipper, having absolutely no communication since May 2026, completely censored, but it has been completely removed from the App Store. Meaning no players are capable of downloading it through that method. It's only a matter of time until Snowbreak announces their end of service. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but even after their last maintenance, that had the community huffing copium, there is no update in sight. There is no future in sight. It inherits the original scenario, world view, and side stories, while adding all-new narrative content. Character stories are woven organically into the collection and growth systems. Platforms include iOS & Android, I couldn't find any info on a PC release currently. There are no current tests announced at present, and no test phases currently scheduled.
